Your journey to North Devon

At Croyde Beach

What I love about North Devon is that it is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but also an area of contrasts. There are the beautiful sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton to name just a few. 20 miles up the coast, you have the awe-inspiring rugged Exmoor coastline. Packed with hidden coves and sheer cliffs. You also have the busy towns and villages of Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and Braunton that offer an array of attractions and amenities. And not forgetting, of course, the small villages and hamlets of North Devon, such as Croyde, Mortehoe and Lynmouth, which showcase their quintessential charm in abundance.

The best part? It’s all yours to discover. Get inspired, and then book one of our North Devon holiday cottages and you could join us in person. Shall we begin?

My insider guide

My name is Oliver and I have lived in this area for around 10 years. I’ve been tasked with taking you on a journey to North Devon from the comfort of your sofa – and nothing would make me happier! We would come here on family holidays when I was young, and we all fell in love the area. Together with my wife and our two young children, I’m always out and about at our local attractions. But most of our outings seem to revolve around cake, so I have also become an expert on the best cafes in North Devon. I’m so excited to show you around the places that mean so much to me.
