Unusual Holiday Cottages

From the peculiar to the sublime, some of our cottages are nothing if not unusual. It may be their interesting history or inspired renovation, but predominantly it is their unusual and intriguing exterior which draws the eye and grabs our attention.

From a converted corn bin in rural Sussex to a remodelled toilet block in Norfolk, we certainly aren’t short of inspiring properties. If you are after something a little different for your holiday then have a read about some our most favourite quirky structures and start planning your unusual holiday with us now.

We don’t just offer conventional stays in renovated fisherman’s cottages, barn conversions, seaside apartments or grand family townhouses. There is a side to us which is altogether different and we like to offer a slice of the alternative to our customers; from triangle houses in Kent and Suffolk, where one comes with a seaside flair and the other more of dog friendly lilt to houses shaped like a slice of cheese. Some of our more unusual properties would give Grand Designs a run for their money.

The unusual doesn’t just stop with the aesthetics. Increasingly our cottages have a more eco friendly awareness and we have properties from Sussex to Yorkshire offering a truly eco neutral stay, with all amenities supplied without any damage to the environment.

So if you fancy staying in a converted Victorian loo block on the beach in North Norfolk, or sample your own impression of sleeping aboard a steam train (though permanently stationed) in Yorkshire or perhaps giving the Sailor lifestyle a shot, with a stay on a motor cruiser in Plymouth, where Devon meets Cornwall, we say test your rowing skills and hop aboard and have a look through some of our most unusual properties for a truly memorable holiday. If you are struggling to seek out the quirky then call our friendly team on 0333 2020899 who will point you in the right direction.
