Reviews

Charming country cottage, in the most beautiful location (highly recommend a walk up to the church to see the view). Local pub (Durham Ox) very handy for delicious food. Well placed for exploring York, Castle Howard and near enough to the Dales for day trips. Very cosy with the Rayburn and books and toys were appreciated by the kids. Kitchen has only basic equipment & Rayburn takes a long time to get warm, so would suggest eating out where possible.

Mrs E,

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Very comfy & so close to the delicious food at the Ox pub. Would love to return.

Ms G,

Lovely cottage in a very picturesque village with fantastic local pub.

Ms L,

Lovely cottage on a beautiful location

Previous Customer,

Overall the cottage was great - beautiful setting, large garden and comfortable beds. Small things to mention - the latches on the internal doors were very loose and kept falling off. Also, we could have used with more hand towels - only one supplied for the entire cottage despite two bathrooms and the kitchen.

Mr Andrew K,

Plum Tree Cottage fitted the bill perfectly for us in terms of location and comfort.

Mr Desmond E,

Couldnt fault the cottage in anyway ither than on leaving i would like to have vacuumed the living room carpet. I couldnt find a hoover or even a dust pan and brush. Nothing major really....will definitely recommend and return!!

Ms Rachel D,

Lovely holiday cottage. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed
