This delightful first floor apartment in the grand Victorian building Carlton Lodge, looks out over horseshoe shaped Viking Bay with the Lift to the Sands, cliff top gardens and bandstand. The apartment offers bright spacious accommodation for four people with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The town is literally on your doorstep with a great choice of restaurants and shops. Margate is just a few minutes drive away, where you will find the Turner Contemporary art gallery, interesting artisan shops in the old town and Dreamland amusement park. Fantastic Apartment on the seafront at Broadstairs. Very close to shops, restaurants and bars we had a superb holiday. Would definitely recommend.
This is a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea, beach and park. It is surprisingly bigger than it looks in the photo's and was spotlessly clean on arrival. The apartment has everything for your holiday including beach chairs, loungers, windbreak etc and the kitchen has everything you require. The apartment is just a two minute walk to the many restaurants but far enough away to have peace and quite. The balcony is a suntrap in the mornings, ideal for lunch or a glass of wine although I'm not sure why it has been separated from the kitchen side? Possibly a little on the expensive side but you definitely couldn't want for anything more from the apartment.
Location, location, location. With a balcony overlooking the main beach and private on site parking this is probably one of the best properties we have stopped in. The apartment was very clean and decorated to a high standard with everything needed for a holiday. We will be back - next year already booked!
Properties are often described as 'home from home'; this would not do justice to this large, modern and absolutely luxurious holiday apartment. The refurbishment within the apartment and the entrance area are of the highest quality. The two balconies' offer unequalled views of the not only the promenade and beach, but also of the botanical gardens and bandstand. Broadstairs is a very quaint and unique resort, enhanced by the prominent position on the esplanade which Carlton Bay View enjoys.
