This light and airy one bedroom apartment is set close to the picturesque South Cliff area of Scarborough with its beautiful sandy beach. During a stay at South Cliff Apartment you will be just a short walk away from the town centre shops, bars and restaurants and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the bus and and train stations for those wanting to explore further afield. Why not take the Victorian cliff lift down to the Spa theatre complex and beach and enjoy an ice cream or some local fish and chips from one of the numerous cafes and restaurants.

This thoughtfully furnished apartment boasts a lovely open plan living area complete with a well equipped kitchen, dining table and comfortable lounge with large bay window. Here you can relax after a busy day before retiring to the cosy bedroom which offers both double and single beds.

Ground floor

Main entrance into the shared lobby, large lift takes you to the first floor.

First Floor

Entrance: into a hallway with space to hang coats and leave shoes.

Lounge/dining room/kitchen: an open plan room with three seater sofa and armchair, coffee table, 32” TV with BT You View Box and DVD player. The bay window has a dining table and three chairs. Well equipped kitchen area with electric hob, oven and grill. Fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

Bedroom: double and single beds, bedside cabinets, large chest of drawers, wardrobe and bookshelf. Leather recliner and footstool gives a useful reading/relaxing area. 

Bathroom: newly refurbished with bath and shower with rainfall shower head over, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. 

Pets: sorry no pets

Parking: scratch cards provided for zoned local street parking on a first come, first served basis.

Garden/patio: no outside space

Heating: instant electric wall heaters throughout the apartment with additional heating provided by the plinth heater below the cooker. Heated towel rail in the bathroom.

Short breaks: accepted all year round.

Smoking: Not allowed at this property.

Notes: towels are provided, unlimited wifi is available free of charge, mobile signal is strong.

Third visit and will be back next year. Keys and parking tokens always arrive at our home address early so no last minute panics. High standards are maintained in the apartment and easily met our needs. Lovely place, good neighbours in the block, quiet and have always found parking space nearby. Sainsburys round the corner and a quick plug for the Crown Spa Hotel. Had a bar meal there one night and it was superb and no more expensive than my local pub back home!! Theakstons best bitter on draught at £5.30 a pint. Back to the apartment, cannot fault and will certainly back next year (if not before). Thanks again to the owners.

This is the second time staying here. We have been holidaying in Scarborough nearly 50 years and this is one of the nicest holiday apartments we’ve stayed in. The location is brilliant! Always stayed on the south cliff. There’s shops just round the corner. The cliff lift at the bottom of the road which takes you to the beach and spa but you also have access to the seafront bus which takes you all the way to the sealife centre and Scalby. The beautiful Italian gardens are only 10 mins walk and It’s only 15 minutes walk into the town centre! The apartment itself has everything you need and is beautifully decorated which makes it so cosy. It has a lift which is ideal as I stay with my elderly mum. I can’t recommend it enough.
