Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Reviews

Location is very good but the garden was a disappointment as the whole garden was covered in Rabbit Pooh so we were unable to use the garden.

Mrs M,

Lovely house in excellent location

Mrs A,

It is a brilliant house .

Mrs M,

A great location and well appointed house. The garden however needed attention.

Mrs W,

Well equipped, comfy house for 8. Having 2 lounges was a bonus and the outside decking with sunshine until late evening was lovely . Very convenient quiet road located a short walk to pier, seafront and town. A beautiful coastline for walking, cycling and touring. We all loved it.

Mr P,

This house was a wonderful home from home, with every amenity a family could want. It is near to the pier, a short walk into town, with a good sized garden and decking to enjoy in the good weather. The sitting room was spacious and comfortable and the snug was ideal for young children with a television and books and toys. The kitchen was modern and had ample equipment for a group of eight (plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils), very good appliances). The beds were comfortable with good quality linen and the bathrooms were clean and modern. We had a fabulous weekend and would definitely consider returning if we visit Southwold again.
