Description

The Little White House is a 19th Century tastefully refurbished property perfectly situated just a short stroll from the centre of the historic town of Dartmouth where you will find an array of boutique shops, cafe's and restaurants as well as a bustling Marina. This charming 2 bedroom property is situated over 3 floors and sleeps 4 with 2 spacious bedrooms.  It has a modern, well designed and wonderfully cosy open plan kitchen/diner/living area where you can relax in front of the remote control gas fire with a glass of wine after a glorious day exploring the many hidden treasures that Dartmouth has to offer. The first floor features a conveniently placed bathroom with sizeable shower as well as the spacious twin bedroom. The Master Bedroom is situated on the top floor and boasts views stretching across Dartmouth's sparkling townscape. The Little White House is the perfect family getaway which offers privacy in abundance but with the added benefit of stepping out of the door into this beautiful town on the River Dart.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.

Parking A parking permit is provided for all year round use on the Mayor Avenue car park on a first come first serve basis, only a short walk away.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity included in rent. Gas central heating. 

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). 

Shop: 0.1ml  Pub: 0.1ml

Notes - No Smoking. The Little White House is not suitable for toddlers due to steep stairs. Wifi provided. Mobile signal good. Restricted headroom in Master Bedroom

A lovely property in a fantastic location

I really enjoyed my week here - the location was helpful being near the shops and harbour but was also very quiet being tucked back from the roads. It was clean with clear instructions for heating, water, etc. I'll be back sometime to explore the town more!

The Little white House is in a perfect location in Dartmouth, a very short walk into town where there are lots of great shops, pubs and restaurants. The house is very comfortable with everything you need for your stay provided. Th linen is always very good, the beds comfortable and the bath is very nice, great for a long soak after a day on the River Dart!

Lovely cottage in quiet setting, location would be tricky for guests with mobility issues or small children.

Location of the property was much more central than we thought, so a welcome surprise. Top bedroom was lovely watching the nesting seagulls, apart from the bed was little small and not overly comfy. The twin beds were better. Kitchen had more equipment than I have at home . All round lovely property and would definitely return

The one problem we had was when arriving in Dartmouth it was dark, the art gallery mentioned to locate to find the property has sadly closed so that reference point was gone, because we know Dartmouth quiet well we knew where the gallery used to be located so that was a bonus for us. However also the directions said look for the yellow house with blue windows not really feasible in the dark it didnt show up, luckily we took a guess and went up some little steps and were successful in locating the house, but maybe you could update directions and mention and the bottom of the little steps on the right hand side it says numbers 18 to 24 and thats how we found it.
