Reviews

The property was very clean on arrival and it smelt lovely throughout. The facilities were brilliant and a very high standard. Beds were very comfortable. Great location and will return. Short 5 minute walk down hill the an amazing beach,

Mrs Fiona S,

We were initially pleasantly surprised by the property, Baywatch. We were grateful that there was a parking space as Headland Road, although not a through, was very busy. The apartment was spacious with a bathroom and en suite. Being north facing it was always cold with a very small area to sit outside in the evening sun. We could not find any information in the file provided giving an idea of local food shops etc. The double bed was apparently comfortable but the same could not be said about the single beds which were VERY uncomfortable, also one of the pillows was badly stained. Not the standard that we are used to.

Mrs Christine M,

Location

Located on the outskirts of St Ives, Carbis Bay is a one of Cornwall's five award-winning Blue Flag beaches. Carbis Bay is a large sandy beach with is excellent for bathers or small children, as the waters generally always remain calm with watersports such as kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on offer. Dogs are welcome in winter, or in the early mornings during the main season.

Carbis Bay is just a short train ride to the centre of picturesque St Ives or you can take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path to St Ives, Lelant or the nearby town of Hayle. Bird watchers can walk along the east side of the beach at low tide where you'll find Porth Kidney and the RSPB bird sanctuary, an important home for sea birds.
