Description
Sitting just a 50-metre stroll from the beach, this lovely single-storey holiday home boasts beautiful sea views. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it’s the ideal cottage for small families or groups of friends in search of a cosy place to call home while they discover the beauty of the Suffolk coast together. Enjoy wonderful morning strolls along the sands of Felixstowe Beach (50 meters) before heading to Felixstowe Seafront Gardens (0.5 miles) with a picnic to enjoy an al fresco lunch among the Grade II-listed gardens. In the afternoon, browse the independent stores housed in a colourful shipping container complex on Beach Street (1.5 miles) or tee-off at the local golf club (1.5 miles). In the evening, check out the lively local food scene or come home to your cottage to fire up the BBQ in the garden.
Head inside this smart holiday home and you’ll find yourself in a spacious hallway. Off the hallway you’ll find two large and stylish king-size bedrooms – one of which boasts terrific sea views. Continue down the hall and you’ll find the spacious lounge/diner, the social heart of the home, which also showcases wonderful sea views. Make yourself at home by the flame-effect electric fire, before you head to the country-style kitchen to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather and eat around the large oval dining table in the lounge/diner. After dinner, chill out in front of the Smart TV in the lounge area before you retire for the night in one of the two sumptuous bedrooms. A well-appointed shower room and a family bathroom with a beautiful roll-top bath complete the interior.
A door from the lounge/diner leads out to the delightful, south-facing paved patio area with a gas BBQ and large table for al fresco dining. This is the best spot to start each day with a morning brew to sea views, or an al fresco meal on balmy evenings. Private parking for one car is available, with additional on-street parking in the surrounding roads, subject to availability.
