I had booked this gorgeous property for my mums 60th birthday. From the offset the host Hannah was very accommodating, she passed over contact details for a caterer so we could really relax when we got there. Grassyards and the land around the property are absolutely outstanding. Every room was beautifully laid out with robes/slippers and towels. There was complimentary cakes on arrival along with a bottle of bubbly. We were truly over the moon with the efforts gone into our stay. Perfect for our full family and pets. We will 100% be back!! Absolutely stunning house set in the most beautiful countryside. The house thoroughly deserves it's 5 star rating and our host could not do enough for us during our visit. Totally recommend this property, it's just beautiful and everything has been done to an exceptional standard. We will definitely be going back.

We visited over Christmas and were greeted by a festive decorated house. Great location quiet and good to get away from all the world. Grandma to our mid 20s kids had a great time. Described as one of the best Christmas ever, ace. The kitchen with Aga and electric ovens allowed us to cook all the meals and the twin dish washers saved my hands. Canasta played on sheep skin-clad chairs made the evenings delightful. Monopoly in the sun lounge gave the family together time. A must visit location.

An incredible property and host. The finishes are 5* in every room, there is genuinely nothing missing or required. I highly recommend this beautiful house. We had 9 family members for the first 3 nights and then 11 at the weekend and there was plenty of room.

You couldn't ask for a nicer place and Hanna was fantastic it has got everything anyone could want and more. The attention to detail made it the best holiday home we have ever stayed at.

We had a great family holiday in a beautifully stylish house. The owners have paid a lot of attention to detail, such as providing high quality toiletries, dressing gowns, Nespresso pods and even mini marshmallows for hot chocolate which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Hannah and Scott were good enough to invite us to visit their farm and feed some of the animals. We also took a tour on the back of Scott’s quad bike, which was great fun for all. Great property, great hosts ¦weâd love to return.

The house is absolutely outstanding - could not have picked a better place to celebrate with family and friends. So much care and attention has been given to every aspect and there are thoughtful touches throughout. The size of the house , the facilities and the large garden gave loads of options. Play games (inside and out),gather together, find a quit corner. The games room was a particular hit with all ages. Hannah and Scott were so helpful and welcoming. Highly Recommended

We had a great week celebrating a birthday. Children absolutely loved the play area, dog loved the outside space and we thoroughly enjoyed the company, house and surroundings. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of luxurious touches. The countryside was great for walking in and we loved our visit to the farm. Thank you, Hannah. We visited Arran, Millport and went on the Waverley. Thanks Hannah and Scott - terrific hosts and nothing too much trouble. We hope to return.

The house was spectacular with every room immaculate and each bedroom extremely well sized. Outside the kids had a great time in the huge play park and the dining room was fantastic for evening meals. Loads to do around the area as well. Special mention to Hannah and Scott, amazing/lovely hosts.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful cottage, with stunning scenery in your own quaint environment. We visited the local town and took cruises to neighbouring which islands which was also lovely. We can't speak highly enough of Hannah the accommodating host who promptly would answer any questions we had about the cottage and areas nearby. 5 stars for Hannah & 5 stars for the cottage. Highly recommend!

3 families stayed at Grassyards for a week, we had a brilliant time, the house is amazing, lots of little touches left by Hannah who is a brilliant host. Would definitely recommend to a friend to stay. It's a great house in a great location if you want to get away from it all, you want for nothing as everything is though of before arrival :)

This is a beautiful house which has all the top technology yet also felt homely in the farmhouse kitchen. Every possible need is anticipated by the owners and the house is full of thoughtful luxury extras. We wanted rural yet near a town and this house fit perfectly with that. The kids loved the playground, the games room and visiting the farm and the dog ran up and down for hours each day in the big enclosed garden. We loved it and can’t wait to book to go again. A wonderful family house, Hannah should be very proud of what she's done. Excellent facilities for adults and children of the highest standards. Great location for touring the islands and coastline.

The height of luxury and comfort. Everything of the highest quality. Little treats and surprises all added to the experience. Highly recommend for a big family group. We were 6 adults and 5 children and everyone was catered for. The games room was a big hit for the children as was the hot tub for all. It is expensive but worth it for a special occasion

A wonderful family reunion at Grassyards House. Hannah and Scott were the perfect hosts; greeting us warmly on arrival, giving a thorough briefing on the house, and answering questions about the Largs area. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and immaculately clean. The decor and furnishings blend perfectly to create an ambiance of comfortable luxury. The bedrooms and bathrooms are simply outstanding and the attention to detail carries through to the communal areas. Highly recommended.

Such a fantastic house in a wonderful location. You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, with the spectacular scenery and waterfalls on the other side of the valley; however the house is only a 10 minute drive to Largs. With the PS5 and playground, the kids could be entertained while us adults enjoyed sitting in the very comfortable lounge. Hannah and Scott were great, and even invited us to their farm for the kids to feed the animals which was a highlight. A holiday to remember

Grassyards is such a well appointed property with every need catered for in the kitchen and bedrooms. The lounge is very comfortable with ample room for our families of eleven. By far the best accommodation that we have enjoyed over the last 12y years and in a wonderful location. Many thank to hannah and Scott.

What an awesome house! Absolutely everything was provided for our holiday with 10 adults +2 kids. Hannah was friendly and responsive to our questions before we came and when we were here! She even bought in a cake tin specially so we could bake a birthday cake while we were here.The hot tub is fab, the kids (and the big kids!) loved the play area and the space to play on the grass. The games room was also a huge hit with everyone.

Grassyards is an outstanding property with unmatched facilities, and our family group of five parents, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild (and a dog!) were only sorry we had to leave. All this and Hannah and Scott, who couldn't have been more welcoming. September 2023 is already pencilled in.

We had an amazing stay at Grassyards House. The property is stunning and spacious with lots of different things to entertain all ages and appointed with everything you could need during your stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the trip to their farm where the kids had a ride on the back of the quad bike and fed the animals; one of their favourite parts of the holiday. The property is ideally situated to explore the many things to do in the surrounding area.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! We would throughly recommend Grassyards. We all had a wonderful time. It was honestly the best holiday rental we have ever been to in the uk in every respect. The owner has a meticulous eye for detail. Better than many 5 star hotels and resorts that we have stayed in. There were 7 of us, ages ranging from 3 to 73 and there was something to keep everyone entertained, either visiting local attractions or just staying in and enjoying the amazingly well stocked home! Loved it.

Every detail was perfect. The home is beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and incredibly clean. The land and surrounding views were magical and feeding the pigs and sheep with Hannah and her husband was one of our favorite memories during our two weeks in Scotland. We have already recommended this special home to our friends and we are grateful for the time our family spent at the Grassyards House.

First class in every sense of the word. A family get together made even more perfect by Grassyards House. Hannah & Scott we’re amazing hosts. The house had everything and more. So much space for all 11 of us to either sit together or separate out for quiet time to do our own thing. Fantastic location. Stunning scenery but Largs close by. Can’t wait to return.

Grassyards exceeded our high and hopeful expectations. Luxury comfort, acres of indoor and outdoor space with more beautiful rooms than you can count! All of the individually styled bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas are gorgeously furnished & the decor throughout is stunning. The amazing games room, hot-tub, sonos systems and kids playground ensured plenty of entertainment all round. A stunning family home offering comfortable luxury, thoughtful attention to every detail & lots more. Superb!

Beautiful house and garden,bedrooms and bathrooms were amazing.lots of space for everyone and great games room.kitchen had everything and more than we needed.all in all great place for family or groups of friends and even our dogs had a great time

We had a three generation stay and we had a lovely warm welcome from Hannah and Scott. The cottage was equipped with absolutely everything including a fantastic play area for the kids. It was five star luxury and we would highly recommend it

Have to say everything from beginning to end was perfect .Every year we have gone to Scotland as a family for the last 23 years( various ages) and been in numerous properties . I believe we will say this pleased everyone , and probably voted the best, from all angles comfort ,activities to do . Hannah the hostess made us feel very welcome. This is an absolutely stunning property ! A lot of thought, care and attention to detail has gone into making your stay a memorable one. Every room is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and feels both luxurious and homely at the same time . We were a party of 11 celebrating a special birthday and everyone from young to old had a fabulous time. Hannah had even managed to conjour up the name of a Private Chef who came to the house and cooked an amazing birthday dinner . Will be back soon .

Fantastic stay at Grassyards House. Immaculate accommodation, furnished to an extremely high standard. We were blown away by the bathrooms and games room, could not fault anything about our stay. Our group of 9, ranging from 2 to 82 all had a brilliant time and can’t wait to return!

Hannah and Scott were very welcoming on arrival, nothing was to much trouble, they had cleared the snow from the road and had the house lovely and warm on our arrival. Hannah explained how everything worked. Even offered to come back each day to refill log basket and check the hot tub. The rooms were amazing and lots of of room to spread out. We had a wonderful time celebrating my sisters birthday, Afternoon tea and balloons were such a special touch.

This house is absolutely stunning. Immaculate and beautifully finished down to the last detail. The photos don't do it justice! It is huge and proper luxury. You can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the little touches from the lovely toiletries to the fresh spread of scones and cakes on arrival. The games room was a huge hit and something you don't find in many houses. I honestly can't recommend highly enough. We are already looking to book our next stay!

Absolutely stunning, luxurious, comfortable house. If we could give 10 stars we would. The only negative was having to leave. Our party age ranged from 2 years to 56 years yet this house was perfect for us all. Hannah and Scott have managed to make a luxurious house extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Our highlights were: the bedrooms, the baths, aga, games room, PS5, sofas, kitchen, visits to the farm!!! The fire, sound system, hot tub. The snug, great for cosy card and board games.

WOW WOW WOW…what a place. My family and I stayed here over the New year and we didn’t want to leave. Grassyards house is 5 star in every way. Hannah and Scott are lovely and have every little detail covered. From PlayStation 5 for the kids to roll topped bath in our room complete with bath robes and slippers. Everyone room in the house has its own individuality and we loved every one. Everything has been done to the highest of standard and we really can’t wait to go back.Nowhere else like it

I don’t know where to start. We stayed at grassyards for Christmas. Firstly the photos do not do this property justice. It’s truly beautiful. And such a beautiful location. Hannah and Scott really made our stay magical. They are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They even let us visit their animals and feed them which was a huge hit with the kids. The house was immaculate. Everything was covered and more. We really didn’t want our stay to end so much so we extended our stay
