The village of Langham is a charming north Norfolk village with a pretty church and cottages featuring the local brick and flint architecture. It is a great springboard for exploring this part of Norfolk being just minutes from the coast, marshes and fabulous sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham. From here it is also easy to explore many of the delightful coastal villages such as Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea, which has a world renowned birdwatching centre nearby. Much of this part of the coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and other pleasures to be enjoyed here are sailing, visiting historic houses and crabbing on the quayside - which will keep all members of the family happily entertained for hours! Walking the quiet lanes, nearby heaths and parks such as Kelling Heath and the National Trust's Sheringham Park, which affords great views down to the coast are also worth seeking out. There is a handy village pub, The Blue Bell, serving good food and there other excellent restaurants and gastro-pubs plus cafes and delicatessens nearby, giving ample opportunities to sample the local gastronomic delights that Norfolk is justifiably famous for. Venture inland to discover the wonderful Georgian town of Holt, a landmark for the area, with its antique shops, independent fashion boutiques, art galleries, cafes and tea rooms and whilst here take a journey on the local steam railway for a coastal journey to Sheringham. With so much to see and do, many happy memories will be made and a return visit will be a certainty.

Reviews

Very good house in a splendid location for the places we most like.

Mr F,

A fantastic week in a fantastic property (we've already booked again!). Lovely spacious and secure garden for the dogs. well appointed kitchen and all very clean and tidy. a very relaxing week and we look forwards to heading back to Langham!

Mr W,

The cottage was exactly what we expected and more. The standard of equipment was superb form the bedrooms, linen, kitchen, furniture decor etc. etc. Warm, welcoming, quiet, spacious, clean, good parking and within easy access to pubs, restaurants, beaches and many local attractions.

Mr S,

We've just returned from our first stay at Hollybush, and have already booked for next year. A beautiful cottage in a perfect location for everything North Norfolk has to offer. The garden is large and secure, perfect for the canine members of the family, and the cottage itself is spacious, and very comfy, having everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The welcome basket was a treat to receive upon arrival, thank you to the owners for this thoughtful touch. Looking forward to our next stay already.

Mrs S,

Excellent accommodation in a very good location. Comfortable beds; beautifully clean. We have enjoyed three visits. The addition of an excellent cake from Sponge was a most welcome upgrade from the previous welcome pack!

Mr F,

Immaculately clean, comfortable and good sized secure garden for children or dogs to run around. May not suit mixed families as only 1 bathroom upstairs. Generous welcome box, dog treats etc, personalised tags with cottage contact number are a great idea!

Mrs B,

This accommodation was just how advertised and more, not cluttered, everything one needed for a holiday place, even had fans in each room!! totally surrounded by trees and farmland, no neighbours nearby, quiet, garden totally enclosed for dogs, wildlife everywhere.

Miss W,

Our second time at this property. A great location, very quiet and easy to get to the amazing beaches. The garden is large and fully secure, perfect for our Cocker Spaniel. Lovely welcome hamper.

Mrs D,

The property sits in beautiful surroundings and the property itself is lovely. We had an issue with the landing stair gate falling off but the owner rectified this the next day with a new one. Everything we could possibly need was available, and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The garden is completely safe for dogs and small children, but we did feel the garden was a bit neglected and just needs a spruce up. The property is ideally situated to make the most of the wonderful countryside and local attractions.

Mrs M,

We were very happy again. Very comfortable, good facilities, great location,

Mr W,

We had a wonderful time staying at Hollybush. Fantastic location and there is everything you need in the welcome folder to plan days out nearby. The hamper was delicious and great after the long drive. Huge enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to run free. We would highly recommend this beautiful property and hope to return next year!

Miss B,

A lovely cottage in an excellent location.

Mr F,

Lovely quiet location. Within easy reach of the sea. Great dog friendly garden. Well stocked. Welcome pack was great. As were dog treats

Mrs K,

we have stayed here twice and loved every moment of it, a truly relaxing place for both mind body.. and pets. Great location for both coast and inland excursions

Mr R,

This is the best holiday house I have stayed in , great furnishings, excellent equipment. Comfortable beds, bathrooms high standard. Outside space and excellent.

Mrs B,

We were very impressed with the property, it was very welcoming and warm, with the festive decorations adding that bit extra. The cottage provided everything that we needed for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. This was our first time at the cottage and we will definitely be back to stay again.
