Happisburgh is a pretty village on the North East Norfolk coast. Famous for its working lighthouse with its bold red stripes, the village has a shop and pub and the sandy beach accessible 1 mile away. This area of Norfolk is really the gateway to the Broads national park giving a superb contrast to the wide sandy beaches. There are numerous nature reserves in the area, do go to Horsey where you are sure to see the baby seals in action at certain times of the year. Wroxham and North Walsham are good centres for shopping and if you wish to head North, then Cromer and Sheringham are not too far away and offer traditional seaside resorts. Definitely worth a visit.

Reviews

A lovely cozy cottage which was perfect for a family getaway over new year. Well equipped and beautifully presented. We hope to return.

Miss M,

Fantastic location, welcome pack was greatly appreciated, also all the extras that were so unexpected but a lovely touch, shower gel, hand soap etc, great that there were loads of cups to use.. Would come back again.

Mrs W,

Camberly Cottage is a lovely well equipped holiday cottage. Lovely walks on your doorstep. Beach 10 minute walk away. Pub 2 minutes, serves good pub grub and Sunday Roasts. Great if you have a dog(s). The cottage supply dog bed and feeding bowls, everything has been thought about We have enjoyed two holidays here

Mrs L,

We absolutely loved our stay at Camberley Cottage! Not only was the location incredible, but the cottage itself was adorable. We were blessed with very good weather and spent every day on the beach which is a short stroll away. We were very sad to leave and would absolutely book again.

Mrs B,

Great property and location, quaint cottage beautifully furnished. Lots locally for children. Lovely walks near by, lots of beaches some with easy access.

Mrs J,

Great property can’t fault it.

Mr G,

The property was everything and more, lots of space and a home away from home, an exceptional welcome pack was waiting for us on arrival, we found it clean and well cared for, we love it there with long coastal walks and a lovely beach for the dogs to run on. A pub that serves nice food 500yards away but the village is quiet most of the time. Would recommend a stay at this cottage all day long, we couldn’t say anything bad about it at all.

Mrs F,

Camberley cottage is an excellent location just a short walk to the beach. It's lovely and homely with a lovely cottage garden. The welcome pack was the best we have had. Beautiful homemade banana cake the best I've tasted! Wine, coffee, tea, milk, crisps, chutney, jam and chocolates. Loads of toilet roll. These little things go a really long way. Nice touches for the children little teddy bears and a lovely book Tom tit we enjoyed reading. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ms C,

Stayed at Camberley Cottage in February and found it to be very clean, warm and comfortable with plenty of room. Great location for a quiet break with short walk to beach or along Norfolk coast path and even shorter walk to pub.

Mr M,

Camberly cottage is everything you could want in holiday accommodation, including a welcome pack of chocs, milk, tea, coffee and many other things, it is really well equipped and has lots of room. There is a pub 50 yards away and the beach is 5 mins walking distance from the cottage. We have been three times already and will definitely be going again.
