Description

Swanage is a traditional coastal town located in the picturesque Isle of Purbeck. Here you will find a beautiful sandy beach, which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports such as paddleboarding and kayaking, as well as a vibrant town centre, home to a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy panoramic views of the coastline from the pier or head off to explore the rich history and natural beauty of the surrounding area, with attractions including Durlston Country Park within a mile and Corfe Castle just 5 miles inland. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach holiday or an adventure exploring the local countryside, Swanage offers something for everyone.

A shared entrance and stairs lead to the private door into this welcoming and homely apartment. Once inside, a compact hallway leads to the charming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on your left. Here you can relax beside the TV or enjoy preparing leisurely meals in the kitchen before settling down at the table just opposite. A steep ladder-style staircase leads to the mezzanine floor above (care should be taken when climbing and descending the stairs). Tucked into the eaves is a cosy snug area, complete with an inviting sofa bed (available on request) and a second TV, making this the perfect spot for watching your favourite film after a day spent exploring. Heading back downstairs, from the hallway you can also access the double bedroom and the bathroom, which completes the accommodation.

This property is a great choice for those wanting to relax outside as it has a balcony and roof terrace balcony to choose from. One that leads from the lounge and the other from the bedroom. Both spaces have furniture and are ideal for enjoying a sundowner or your morning coffee.

Reviews

Good value for money, clean, well equipped and perfectly located for beach, town and bus/train station

Mr N,

The first floor apartment was comfortable and had on-site parking. The 'attic' room was cute, but we climbed down the ladder stairs gingerly and didn't go up again! A well equipped kitchen. P.S. take loo roll!

Mrs M,

Very convenient for access to the town and beach. Level walking. Nice to have the Friday market so close too.

Ms H,

Lovely place to stay, would recommend highly.

Mrs H,

Mr E,

Lovely apartment, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Good location within easy walking distance of all local amenities. Also easy driving distance to some great visitor attractions.

Mrs R,

Spotlessly clean. 10 mins walk to beach, town and pubs. All on the flat. The stairs to the loft space very steep, all ages should take care.
