Description

This contemporary apartment is within walking distance of the award-winning beach of Woolacombe with its 3 miles of golden sands. Woolacombe Beach is widely recognised as one of the best in the UK, you can relax and read, build sandcastles and swim, though if you feel energetic surfing, kayaking and kite surfing are also available. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the South West coastal path on your doorstep, don’t forget to take your binoculars to catch a glimpse of sea birds and seals hiding in the rocks. Looking for a day out with the children then a visit to Watermouth Castle family theme park is only 9 miles away or want to try your hand at coasteering then Watermouth cove offers unique landscapes for jumping and climbing.

Taking the steps up to this first-floor apartment, you will find yourselves in this light and airy open-plan space. With large comfy sofas to relax on and watch a film on the Smart TV after a day of adventure. Whip up delicious dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms one has a king-size bed and an en-suite and a twin room. To complete the accommodation is the family bathroom.

Stepping outside onto the balcony through the patio doors and taking in the stunning views across Woolacombe beach, here you can sit and watch the magnificent sunsets on the patio furniture and do a bit of stargazing before you retire for the day.

Lovely spacious apartment, with wonderful views from lounge french doors/balcony. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Our only problem was that (as senior citizens) we hadn't appreciated how steep the steps were from the car parking area to the front door of the main property. All in all we had a wonderful time in Woolacombe.

We loved our stay in Woolacombe and Driftwood cottage was just perfect. The location was fabulous with incredible views, easy, quick access to the beach, restaurants and shops. Driftwood is a clean , well equipped & comfy flat just a 10 minute walk up the hill from the town, 15 minutes up hill from the beach. It was lovely to see the sea from the balcony. The stairs up from the carpark and up to the first floor are both quite steep, which is worth mentioning for people with reduced mobility. We managed fine however. Woolacombe beach is lovely with good access to the coastal path.
