Absolutely beautiful property at a serene and dream worthy location.. the hot tub by the stream was just a delight. A country side holiday for my child’s birthday couldn’t be any better. The horse, pony, lambs.. all made the experience amazing . My little one got to experience the pony ride for the first time and Gem was so kind to help to her and build confidence .. she made sure it was a memorable one for my child l who dint want to leave at the end .. Gem, Daniel and their Son Charlie are so kind and amazing hosts . We will be back soon to re-live the dream vacation. Highly recommended!

The cottage was perfect, the owners were really welcoming and they enjoyed having us there. My daughter helped out with the horses and they included us with lambing. The outside area was amazing, we spent ages either on the rope swing, in the hot tub or down by the stream.

Me and my partner would highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone who wishes to have a peaceful relaxing get away. We will definitely be staying again soon.

This place is absolute bliss! My best friend and our partners decided to do something different in terms of a holiday and ended up here at Kelly Mill for 2 nights. We didn’t know what to expect or if we’d actually enjoy our time away so we’d made plans to go into Plymouth and have a day out… that didn’t happen because we were so in love with our accommodation at Kelly Mill that we never wanted to leave. The place was so clean and tidy, the floor plan is incredible, there’s a hot tub, fire pit and most importantly an overwhelming sense of peace and serenity. We’re young adults ranging from 20-23 and have been on quite a number of vacations but this place has got to be up there for us. We will 110% be coming back in the summer. I haven’t structured this review well as I don’t usually write reviews but this place is worth every penny. A massive thank you to the owner for having us and like I said we will be coming back in the summer!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this fantastic cottage, the hosts couldn't do enough for you and were very friendly. It was so nice to wake up to the sound of birds so peaceful. The property was very clean and everything we needed for a short stay was there which made our trip easier! Only a short drive away to some places of interest pubs, leisure activities ect, beaches are a little further out but again not to far away i highly recommend this cottage the hot tub was a nice touch and very private we will definitely be back in the future thank you for letting us stay, Jamie.

we absolutely loved our stay and we sure will be returning again, such a welcoming family and such a stunning property, lovely location with some lovely pubs and walks along the way. Gem was so lovely and supplied us with everything we needed.

I usually go away to Devon/Cornwall 3 times per year with my family , so have stayed in a variety of different cottages over the past 10 years and i think this is honestly the best cottage we have stayed in. The location is so tranquil and peaceful, the hot tub by the stream was amazing.. the cottage itself is so clean and the perfect balance between a traditional cottage with modern/luxury features. Everything inside is done to such a high standard that i really couldn’t fault it in any way. My children loved the horses that were in the stables and even got to feed them/ride them thanks to Gem; who is an outstanding host, Gem has struck the perfect balance between being respectful of our privacy but was always available if needed. We can’t wait to return in the summer. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

"Absolutely Outstanding " A stunning cottage in the most serene beautiful of locations. The cottage was clean, homely and lovely and warm. The log fire was really cozy on an evening.The bed was super comfortable and we had the best night's sleep.The kitchen was well equipped.The hot tub was in an amazing location with warm dressing gowns provided. There are animals on the property, horses,dogs and cats which we both loved.The hosts are so welcoming, friendly and although we didn't need anything we were always asked if we were ok if we saw them. Their son is delightful. This cottage far exceeded our expectations and we loved every minute staying there.I would so highly reccomend booking here. Thank you so much for having us. We’ve just came back from an amazing family stay at Kelly Mill Cottage, celebrating my 30th Birthday at this cosy countryside cottage. The property was 5*, clean, a very well equipped kitchen, lovely beds, a well stocked wood basket for the open fire. We were greeted by a huge real Christmas tree, which was such a wow factor and made the weekend feel even more special. The outdoor children’s play area was brilliant, my little boy loved the ride on tractor! Gem was so lovely & friendly, she even introduced us to her horses and my little boy sat on Bobo, their adorable Shetland pony. We would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved Kelly Mill Cottage, the whole setting from the approach down the lane was breath-taking and going inside the cottage was even nicer. The property has such lovely decor and really cosy homely feel. We had the fire roaring and all felt so relaxed, it was exactly what we were after. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and their children were very polite and helpful too. We didnt want to leave and will certainly be returning in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, every detail has been thought about!! This is the perfect place if you want a relaxing break and a good base if you want to explore Devon with Eden project, national trust, Bude all within easy reach in the car. Kelly Mill Cottage is a lovely place to stay for a relaxing break. The accommodation was really nicely renovated and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire, and comfy bed. Would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Highly recommend. My husband and I had a wonderful week in this cozy, beautiful and well equipped cottage. A very pretty and quiet location. Idyllic spot for a jacuzzi too. We didn't want to leave. made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. We had really good food at the recommend restaurants not too far away in the car.

Stunning Cottage!!

We stayed at Kelly Mill Cottage for nearly two weeks as a relaxing getaway for my wife, dog, and me. The property lived up to our expectations. The outdoor area was thoughtfully landscaped, blending convenience with natural beauty. The hot tub was fantastic—easy to use and situated next to a dimly lit seating area with a fire pit, perfect for wood-fired barbecues. We also appreciated having access to the surrounding fields. Inside, the cottage was well-maintained and clean, with more than enough basic supplies provided. The candles were a lovely touch! was always available if we needed anything, and was a delight. His impressive knowledge of tractors (with a collection of 50+ models) and how things work on a farm was fascinating. I learned a lot from —especially about the Quadtractor—so thank you! We’d happily recommend Kelly Mill Cottage to friends and family and would love to visit again, especially once a secure pen for dogs is set up near the cottage.

Kelly Mill Cottage was the perfect base for exploring Devon and Cornwall. The cottage was beautiful with everything you could need for a week's stay. The cottage grounds were absolutely beautiful our little girl loved the park and stream and our dog loved all the gardens and fields he has to explore. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and even let our little girl meet their horses which she absolutely loved. We would love to visit again and hope to book for next year very soon.

We had a lovely stay at Kelly Mill Cottage. We loved the place and especially the location. So nice and quiet. On arrival the place was spotless and you can tell its only been receiving guests since recently. Our daughters had so much fun playing outside at the little stream, while we could enjoy the lovely terrace. The owner went beyond to make us enjoy our time at the cottage and my daughters didnt want to leave.
