Located in a side street off the delightful Harbour Street, this quirky cottage (which was formerly the town’s sweet shop) is in the perfect position to enjoy all that Whitstable has to offer. It is just yards from the independent boutique shops, the pubs, cafes and restaurants, and also yards from the beach and harbour. The decor is an eclectic mix of nautical, film and music and offers a cosy sitting room with log-burner, an open-plan dining room with door to the enclosed patio garden, kitchen and downstairs bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with a third twin bedroom being on the second floor. So, whether you want to be out and about on the water or on the beach, listening to live music, exploring the local arts and crafts or simply chilling at the cottage, this property is the ideal base.

Further afield is the historical City of Canterbury with the medieval cathedral, and Faversham with the romantic creek and bustling markets.

This is a lovely little house very near to the seafront and on a charming street. It's beautifully furnished and well equipped and was immaculately clean. There is a very pleasant courtyard garden at the back which was useful for our two dogs and for a bit of sitting in the sun. I would say there are only two things to watch out for depending on your circumstances - one is the steep stairs up to the bedrooms (this is mentioned in the description and is accurate, they are steep!) and also in the garden there is a very lovely giant lilac bush which caused some issues with hay fever within our party. But it's gorgeous and highly recommended.

ms E,

The property is very well situated, close to shops restaurants and beach. The location is very quiet and the house is very charming. There was only 2 of us and we found it spacious, would be cosy for more. The stairs are very steep.

Mrs D C,

Well appointed cottage in an absolutely fabulous location. When we had a problem with the boiler, it was attended to within minutes (literally).

Ms S,
