Description

The Smokery is a fish smoking shed, with lots of character, right in the heart of Swanage.  Set back from the High Street, with a lovely enclosed courtyard, and wonderful original wooden front doors, The Smokery is a real piece of history in which to stay whilst enjoying the delights of the Purbecks!  


The Smokery sleeps four, in one king (ground floor) and two singles.  There is a lovely, bright, cosy first floor living room, with a wood burner, and a newly renovated kitchen/dining room.  Outside is an enclosed courtyard with seating for four, as well as a shed, which is ideal for bike or watersport equipment. 


The Smokery has been equipped and furnished with everything you need to enjoy your holiday in style and comfort.


First floor lounge: Comfortable seating for four (with sofa bed), wood burner, TV, vaulted ceiling
Kitchen/Diner: Seating for four, drier, gas range cooker, microwave, freezer, washing machine and fridge
Ground floor bathroom:  Full suite with shower over the bath
2 Bedrooms: 1) G/F king size master bedroom with French windows to the decked courtyard and TV 2) Twin room on first floor with lovely feature window

The property was it a great location but could do with a good clean. There was a lot of dust and in places was dirty.

Electric toaster needs updating as does the microwave, cooker got very hot on the outside even the knobs were very hot to touch. Could be a hazard if young children in the property. Otherwise it was a lovely place to stay and we would do do again.
