Description
Pipistrelle is a lovely, quirky and characterful property at the far end of a long barn conversion, offering holidaymakers a private slice of unspoiled Welsh countryside. The cottage, with its neighbours, is set on the owners’ smallholding and surrounded by fantastic rural views. Guests have shared access to 6.5 acres of the adjacent uncultivated meadow, with picnic benches down by the River Annell. This lovingly restored 17th century barn offers accommodation for four, with underfloor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs, interesting original features including beams, wall ties, exposed stone walling etc. Limited WiFi is available (not suitable for downloading large files, streaming films etc). Pipistrelle can be booked with the adjacent cottage, Threshing Barn (WAW324), which also sleeps 4. Glanrannell Barn (WAW325) combines both properties, with The Old Stable, also sleeping 4 but not available separately, to accommodate up to 12 guests; the Barn has dining space for 8-12 people.
