Description

This beautiful three bedroomed house is situated in the popular historic seaside town of Whitby, it has private off street parking and an enclosed patio with outside seating. The house has been furnished and presented to a very high standard and with a great attention to detail and yet retains lots of character and charm. All the rooms are spacious and well proportioned, and offer stylish and elegant accommodation with a modern contemporary touch. 16 Park Terrace is located just a short walk to Whitby town centre, shops, tearooms and restaurants and is a great choice for a family holiday or a seaside break with friends.

Living Room: Two comfortable sofas and a chair. Tiled coffee table, TV with Freeview and BT Vision plus BT sport and DVD player and selection of DVDs, period feature fireplace, Nautical themed wall unit with books and games. Standard lamp.  Plantation shutter blinds complimenting the original wooden panelled area of the bay windows. Views towards Whitby Abbey and St Mary's Church. Original wooden floor
The living room has a unique arch internal feature window looking through into the kitchen diner.

Kitchen/ Diner: Dining table, and chairs with a bespoke light made of reclaimed driftwood, feature fireplace. Galley style kitchen with induction hob, electric oven/grill, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Wine cooler. Tiled floor with under floor heating.  Elegant folding doors to the enclosed courtyard.
Downstairs cloakroom: Toilet, washbasin, utility cupboard with a washing machine.

Lovely well situated house with the bonus of off street parking for two cars. First floor bedroom, bathroom and reading room ideal for Grandparents (us!) and the second floor ideal for the rest of the family. Very well equipped for self catering, cookies and coffee and teas much appreciated on arrival. The House is very comfortable with lovely bed linen and towels and is a joy to come back to after a day of exploring Whitby and the surrounding area.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious house with everything you could possibly need, the best we have stayed in in Whitby! The decor and furnishings were a lovely mix of old and new. Location was perfect and with parking it was ideal. Lovely little paved courtyard at the back was perfect for our dog. Didn't want to leave, will definitely return!

The house is in a great location. It is very comfortable and has been renovated to a high standard whilst also keeping some of the period features. The stairs to the top floor are steep and narrow but were not any problem for us but others may find them difficult. We would definitely stay there again. Great chip shop straight from the back gate.

Everything about the house was superb. Location wise it's probably nit suitable for people unable to climb a vert steep hill on a regular basis if going back and forth into Whitby. But we managed it ok.
