Reviews

We had a wonderful holiday at Bewl Cottage and would like to thank the owners and property manager for the opportunity to stay there. The view over Bewl Water is spectacular and this quiet location made for a perfect week away. The cottage was in excellent condition- well equipped with a modern kitchen and three stylish bathrooms. The beds were large and comfortable as was the seating in the lounge. Highly recommended.

Ms F,

Lovely, well-equipped cottage in quiet location

Mrs W,

The location of this property is amazing right on the edge of Bewl Water, good walks around the lake and plenty of activity to watch from the balcony of the cottage. The cottage was lovely and very clean, we settled in straight away. I would recommend a food delivery as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. One of the best holiday lets we have had over the years, absolutely no negatives at all.

Mrs S,

It was an excellent holiday home. Was as described in the brochure

Mr Graham B,

The house is just perfect for a rural retreat. I came with my husband and two children and we found ourselves at HOME

Ms Conde L,

Wonderful location, well appointed comfortable cottage, great base for visiting local attractions. Welcome pack with delicious cake a very nice touch. Spoilt for choice with upstairs and ground floor balconies to enjoy the view and wildlife at Bewl Water. We particularly enjoyed watching a grey heron fishing for its supper in the shallow water by the shore. One point to note, the cottage is located on a badly pot holed single track lane, not the responsibility of the home owners but maybe better not to take a lower suspensioned car. Also, visibility when leaving the driveway not ideal but mirrors to view oncoming traffic would really help. Overall a wonderful property in a beautiful location.

Mr W,

Could not fault the accommodation in any way. Not the easiest place to find down a very rutted and partially flooded side road.

Mrs Joan C,

Fantastic holiday cottage with breathtaking views over Bewl Water. Spacious, comfortable accommodation well located for visiting the local sites. Granddaughter loved all the toys and books. We would definitely book again when we are next visiting the area and would not hesitate to recommend the property to friends and relatives.
