Description

Tucked away down a quiet country lane, overlooking ancient water meadows The Stables is a beautiful property. Decorated and furnished to the highest standard, this romantic cottage offers all you could need for the perfect couples retreat. With three acres of informal garden, including large wildlife pond and private nature reserve. The cottage has its own sun-drenched courtyard and is surrounded by spectacular countryside and abundant wildlife. A short stroll down the lane and across the meadows leads you to Ufford Church, the White Lion Pub and the river Deben. Shop: 1.5 miles Pub: 800 yards.

Open Plan Room with Sitting Area: Smart TV, BluRay, iPad, iPod dock, woodburner, French windows to courtyard. Kitchen Area: Electric oven and induction hob, microwave combi-oven, fridge with ice box, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washer dryer, granite breakfast bar.

Bedroom: Double bed, large walk-in wardrobe, DAB radio and stable-door to courtyard with En-Suite Shower Room: Easy access shower cubicle, washbasin and wc.
Cloakroom: Washbasin and wc.

Garden: Walled courtyard garden with furniture and access to the grounds and summer-house, barbecue and decking by large wildlife pond within Willow Barn.
Parking: Private.
Heating: Gas fired heating.
Notes: High speed Wi-fi, laptop safe, towels, travel cot and wood/kindling for the woodburner provided. Bike storage available. Please be aware there is a pond in the grounds therefore children should be supervised at all times. 

Ufford is a favoured rural village. Famed for its medieval church with rare font cover, Ufford also has two excellent pubs, The Crown gastro-pub and The White Lion. The Ufford Park Hotel has a well-regarded golf-course and excellent spa. The village is surrounded by a network of footpaths and gives easy access to National Cycle Route 1 and Regional Cycle Route 41; indeed quiet cycle routes to Snape, Iken, Orford and the world renowned Sutton Hoo are a delight. The lovely riverside market town of Woodbridge is 3 miles away with its wealth of independent shops, cafes and restaurants and many other tourist attractions.
