Description

Enjoy a peaceful break, relaxing in a hot tub and admiring breath-taking countryside with green hills and valleys around! Nestled between the small picturesque village of Suffield on the North York Moors and the beautiful picture postcard village of Scalby near the seaside resort of Scarborough, High Croft is an ideal holiday destination. This delightful four bedroomed house is spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms, a large kitchen/diner, an open fire in the lounge and a conservatory with country views. There is a large garden with two patios, outdoor furniture and a hot tub.  The property has a private off road parking for four cars. Scalby Village, with shops and pubs, is not far from the property and has a regular bus service to Scarborough’s town centre. The picturesque Forge Valley and the famous Dalby Forest are only a short drive. Please note that the owners live in the adjoining property and there is a locked interconnecting door between the two. 

GROUND FLOOR
Entrance way: Front door into a small hallway with stairs to the first floor. Downstairs toilet.
Lounge: Two three seater sofas, one two seater sofa, open fire, Sky TV. 
Kitchen/Diner: Electric ceramic hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, fridge freezer, wine cooler and ice machine, washing machine, dishwasher, table and chairs, modern units with an island.
Conservatory: Loveseat, two armchairs, coffee table, door the garden and patio.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: Double bed, built-in wardrobe, TV, DVD player, a chair.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, built-in wardrobe, TV, DVD player, an armchair.
Bedroom 3:  Double bed, wardrobe TV, DVD player, two armchairs.
Bedroom 4: Twin beds, wardrobe, TV.
Bathroom: Bath, seperate shower, toilet, washbasin
Bathroom: Large shower, toilet, washbasin.

Pets: Three dogs are welcome.
Parking: Private off-street parking for four cars.
Garden/Patio: Large mature sloping front garden, front patio with a large table and chairs, second patio to rear of the property with hot tub with bluetooth pop up speakers, charcoal barbecue.
Heating: Oil central heating.
Short breaks: Available anytime.
Notes: Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is weak. Towels are provided. Travel cot and high chair available. The owners occupy part of the ground floor and there is an internal door from the kitchen to their accommodation. 
Pubs: 1 mile. Shops: 1 mile.

Our trip was fantastic, not only because of the property itself but down to the owners as well. They were attentive, easy to chat to and helps my wife feel special on her birthday (cake and biscuits provided, well stocked fridge with essentials). The house was spacious, well looked after and all facilities were brilliant (hot tub was perfect for a chill and a great way to enjoy the stunning views). Wonderful Cottage , and fully decorated for Christmas. Felt so warm and homely . John and Lyn welcomed us , and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived 'Thank you both' . They were both on hand for anything . The kids loved the hot tub !!! and the Dogs loved the vast enclosed garden . We had a fantastic break at Christmas , would recommend and hope to visit again !

A really great holiday home. Warm, comfortable, set in lovely countryside and with many good walking areas on the doorstep. The steep drive was a bit of an issue the first night with all the ice and snow, but Lynn and John the owners were really kind, and with their help the parking issues were soon sorted. We would highly recommend this cottage.

We stayed at High Croft over Spring Bank, eight & baby. The house is spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and the views are amazing. The hot tub was a huge success. The bird table really has a variety of birds visiting every day. The owners were lovely, even going the extra mile and returning my grandson's cup holder off his buggy.
