And you are literally a short walk from the sandy beach. The property has crisp, fresh decor and furnishings with massive windows flooding the open plan apartment with natural light.

The main living area is dual aspect with two delicious balconies on either side. Guests can choose between stunning sea views or the drama of the countryside. The bi-folding glass doors blend inside and outside and bring the sunset into the living space. The lush fully equipped kitchen has the lot and more making dining in a top choice. The en-suite master bedroom has full width glass doors opening onto another spacious balcony with fabulous sea views. The twin room enjoys hillside views and is served by a separate family bathroom.

Behind the flat outside you have your own garden with garden furniture. Your privacy at all times is maintained by an electronic gated entrance, but should you venture out, there's plenty on offer. Croyde beach is rated as one of the best surfing beaches in the world. There is an RNLI Lifeguard service available every day from May to September. If you like rock pooling, head to each end of the beach. And for walkers, there are several footpaths around the village and up to Baggy Point where you’ll be rewarded with an amazing views.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Penthouse. The welcome pack was very welcome after a long and delayed drive! Parking at the property was ample and safe. The apartment is less than a 10 minute walk from the beach, and a 10 minute walk into the village. It's 5 minutes walk to a cafe in the carpark that serves great coffee and a rather wonderful Sri Lankan curry! The apartment itself was very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We used the balconies on the front and back more than we thought we would. They were ideal for sitting on with a book and a drink and watching the world go by. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely penthouse apartment. Balconies facing north and south meant that we spent much more time actually in the apartment then we would normally do! Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the village with shops. Beautifully presented and clean. All necessary facilities and equipment provided. Private secure parking. Altogether a really great place for a relaxing holiday.
