Description

This beautifully presented property in Padstow is the perfect family getaway.  The house is bright and spacious and with three double bedrooms sleeps 5 in a spacious lay out.  The front patio is a morning suntrap perfect for enjoying the first coffee of the day.  The house has a brand new kitchen and bathroom and been redecorated throughout. The owners have thought about ever touch to make this a holiday home you will want to return to again and again.  The rear garden has a lockable store so if you are bringing bikes to enjoy on the Camel Trail this house is the perfect choice.  The many pubs, shops and restaurants that Padstow offers are within a ten-minute stroll. Stunning coastal walks and fabulous sandy beaches are a short drive away.

We found the whole property absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. The living room was comfy and cosy. The conservatory had ample dining space. The beds were comfortable and there was loads of wardrobe space. The short 5 min walk into Padstow was a delight. We hired bikes and completed the camel trail. Tesco is only a 5-8 min walk so it truly had everything anyone could need. Free on street parking and easy access on check in. We’ll definitely be booking again for next September.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bay View, it was less than a 5 minute walk to Padstow Harbour and the bars and restaurants, yet we were completely undisturbed as the house is in a residential area rather than near other holiday lets. The house had everything we needed and really was a home from home - perfect for us as a family with two small children. We’ll definitely be back again!

From the moment we arrived at the property we felt at home, even our dog seemed to like it as she was really relaxed for the whole week. The property was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there to hand even down to dishwasher tablets. The bedrooms were lovely and the bed was super comfortable. My daughter and I with our two dogs (cavalier and pug) spent a lovely week in Bay View. It is a lovely property, has a well equipped kitchen with everything one needs. The owners have indeed thought carefully about the furnishings and decor and made it a very comfortable and lovely place to stay. The beds were top quality and very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom has a great shower and separate bath, sink and wc. The garden was lovely with mature planting and the terrace overlooked the bay. We are able to park outside the property without any difficulty. The property is situated a short downhill walk into Padstow. We will definitely return to this little gem and highly recommend it.

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
