Description

The Lookout - Sennen is a romantic apartment for two, set high on the hillside in the iconic Sennen Heights building, with stunning views overlooking Sennen Cove and the long sandy beach of Whitesands Bay. Note that The Lookout is not for the faint-hearted as in order to reach this fabulous pad and enjoy the view you will need to climb around 80 granite steps up the coastal path. The splendid bedroom is what makes this a real romantic love nest with a superking bed and freestanding roll-top bath which sits right in the window – perfect for enjoying the breathtaking sea views or incredible sunsets whilst sipping a glass of fizz. And if you tire of the fantastic sea views, you can practice your star-gazing with a Celestron Short Reflector Telescope which automatically locates the wonders of the universe with its motorised system and on-board computer.

Sennen Cove is a playground for surfers, beach lovers and walkers of the South West Coast Path. There are local shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub, and it is located in an area of Cornwall steeped in mining history with old engine houses dotted across the landscape. Land's End, the most westerly point in Britain, is just around the corner and from here you can take in awesome views from the First and Last Point or walk around the clifftop and have your photo taken by the famous signpost.

Reviews

The great thing is the view. Property comfortable but the view makes it fantastic!

Ms K,

Amazing place with fabulous views - Clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We loved our stay in The Lookout and would re-book at a drop of a hat.

Mr W,

A dream property. Loved everything about it. We're already plotting our return!

Mrs J,

The property was in a great location, where you could access the coastal path. The property itself was excellent and would recommend a stay.

Mr K,

Location

The approach to Sennen is along a winding lane through beautiful moorland and as you start the descent into the village you can’t help but spot the white-crested waves heading onto shore making Sennen Cove Cornwall’s popular surf hotspot. With a mile of soft white sand and a picturesque harbour, the village combines a working fishing port with an easy-going surf style.

The beach is a draw for holidaymakers and locals alike and offers great surfing and safe bathing within flagged areas. A range of local independent shops, galleries, cafes and eateries ia all within an easy walk along the seafront.

Local attractions include the world-famous Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, Land’s End, Cape Cornwall for spectacular views out to sea and the possibility of sighting dolphins or basking sharks and the historical mining heritage this area is famous for.
