Reviews

Comfortable, well equipped property. Within walking distance of the town, places of interest, restaurants, individual shops and coastal walks - just what we wanted

Mrs B,

The property is just so convenient and well situated for the 3 minute walk down the hill into the heart of Padstow and the harbour. An amazing property we loved it, so clean and fresh and a great base to explore other parts of Cornwall. Thankyou

Mr H,

Great cottage really handy for the town and harbour.

Mr D,

Great location, lovely house.

Mr B,

Samphire is an ideally located holiday property for staying in Padstow, everything in easy walking distance. It had everything you could need in a holiday property. We had a very relaxing time in beautiful Padstow.

Mr H,

The cottage was perfectly located for a stroll into Padstow or along the Camel trail, certainly up there with the best we have stayed in.

Mr P,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
