Reviews

Clean and warm. Very comfortable bed. Nice to have a wood burner. Small but very functional. Good location. Very dark but then it was a very wet week in February.

Ms W,

A lovely little cottage set in a peaceful row in the heart of the old village. The cottage was warm and well equipped with good internet. The village had plenty of places to eat out, even in January, and there were beautiful walks along the Camel estuary. Ideal 3 night stay.

Mrs H,

Delightful fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Padstow Old Town. Perfect location for us & our hound - so much so we’ve booked again for next year!

Mrs T,

Fabulous location, small and quaint cottage right in Padstow. A small garden would be ideal but the tiny yard was definitely a plus.

Mrs G,

We were kept well informed throughout and the cottage was a lovely place to stay right in the heart of Padstow. It was very clean and well presented, We all enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for making it all so easy and stress free

Ms Trudie J,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
