Description
Oysters in Woolacombe enjoys stunning views out over the award-winning three miles of golden sand towards the Atlantic Ocean. This detached bungalow has been refurbished and is a short walk from the centre of the village. A roomy open plan lounge/diner is flooded with natural light from large windows and opens onto a patio with garden furniture to enjoy al fresco dining with a backdrop of stunning sunsets over the sea. The contemporary decor and furnishings create a relaxing holiday atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto another patio which leads to a lawned garden. Three stylish bedrooms, a double with great sea views and a pretty twin room overlooking the garden, share a pristine family bathroom and a master bedroom with Superking bed, ensuite facilities and a Juliet balcony offering wonderful views. Woolacoombe's three mile stretch of golden sand has been voted number one in the UK by TripAdvisor guests for the last two years. It also holds the England For Excellence Gold Award for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer. However it’s not just the beach that brings visitors to Woolacombe. There's a wide selection of restaurants, teashops and bars to enjoy while the laid-back atmosphere makes it a firm favourite for people of all ages. A short drive east takes you to Exmoor National Park, which has Europe’s very first International Dark Sky Reserve, the tallest tree in England, the highest cliffs in England, almost 250 species of bird and over 1,000 different flowering plants and grasses, the highest number of wild red deer in England and wild native ponies, perfectly adapted to the upland conditions of Exmoor. Head south for Barnstaple, a charming place that comfortably blends a handsome past with an energetic, present-day buzz. There’s a 1930s cinema which offers four modern screens showing the latest releases as well as live screenings of theatre productions
