Reviews

A real character property in a great location in rural Suffolk. Plenty of space for the four of us plus a small dog. The beds were really comfy. The showers were warm and powerful. The garden is beautifully kept, the dog loved it! Easy to get either to the coast or inland from the village. Suffolk has so much to explore and this was the perfect location to do the exploring from.

Dr W,

Lovely cottage, full of character and in a good location. Having footpaths for walking the dog just opposite the front door was very handy!

Mr S,

The cottage itself is beautiful and cosy. The welcome pack was very nice and appreciated but no salt or oil . Maybe cut back on the jam and expensive apple juice and leave simple basics. All in all good holiday and location is great and private

Ms F,

Lovely quaint cottage location was great close to three lovely beaches. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Mrs D,

We were a family of 4 adults 2 children and a dog. The cottage was almost perfect for our party. The children had just turned 3 years old so the stairs were slightly a problem, so unless sleeping downstairs younger children may have problems. The facilities were excellent and space was good. The chest of toys in the living space was a big bonus. The garden was excellent for all, especially the dog! The weather could have been better but we cannot hold the cottage to blame for that. A couple of problems we did have was, firstly we got confused regarding the dustbin collection as there were 2 collection days written down and no knowledge of which bin was due for collection. Secondly one of the neighbours had dogs and puppies. Every morning at between 4.30 and 5am the puppies were allowed to create a lot of noise which disturbed the older adults sleeping downstairs. This was very annoying and was repeated in the evenings as well. As it wasn’t totally known which neighbour it was, we couldn’t complain while we were there. Lowestoft and Southwold were lovely seaside towns and well worth the visit. A few more local maps would have been handy but we were unable to get any to leave behind.

Mrs L,

The cottage was delightful! The garden was perfect. When I reported an issue with the cleanliness of the garden furniture which was a big part of our holiday, it was rectified on Monday morning and we could not have been happier. Great location. Stairs could be tricky for some but the rope bannisters were excellent. All in a a perfect week at Lime Cottage.
