Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous Tide Mill, the ancient buildings around the Market Hill and the fine Church. Woodbridge has an interesting shopping centre, with many specialist shops, good restaurants and pubs, together with art galleries, antique shops, town museum, Suffolk Horse museum, an excellent cinema/theatre, large recreation areas and an indoor heated swimming pool.

Reviews

Great location but parking is a hassle (I found roadside parking 12 mins walk away). I really enjoyed my stay.

Ms H,

A spotlessly clean cottage with a comfortable bed. And a cosy well-equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the exposed brick above the fireplace with mirrors, and the back garden with various well tended plants. I can still visualise the French windows with a faint winter sunlight coming through…

Mr S,

More information about parking shoul be given in website. No refuse bins you are expected to take waste to public bins some distance away Crockery and cutlery had to be washed before use. Dishwasher would solve problem. Apart from this house was well equipped and comfortable
