Description

Tower Cottage is a spacious and family-friendly holiday home, with a large private garden, in the heart of the seaside village of Walberswick. Bright and contemporary with charming period features, it is a beautiful hideaway in the idyllic coastal village of Walberswick, not far from Southwold.

Having been recently redecorated throughout, Tower Cottage offers a chic and comfortable space for your next Staycation. You’ll enter into the cottage through the spacious farmhouse style kitchen/diner, a light room with large windows overlooking the private garden. The kitchen features a large dining table, island and units and is an ideal space to bring your family together to make memories over a home-cooked meal. Beautiful parquet flooring extends from the hallway into the sitting room. The spacious sitting room, with cosy open fire for the cooler months and glazed doors leading out to the garden, makes this an ideal year-round retreat to the coast. Also on the ground floor, you will find a single bedroom and a separate ground floor shower room.

Upstairs the accommodation comprises three generous bedrooms, two with zip and link beds that can be made up as either a twin room or super king for your stay, please let us know what you require and we’ll get it sorted for your stay. The third first floor bedroom boasts a king size bed. The flexibility of the bedrooms makes Tower Cottage a fantastic option for families, friends or as a couples’ getaway. Two well behaved dogs are welcome too; with plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby, the whole family gets to enjoy a holiday on the Suffolk coast!

Walberswick is a former fishing village just across the harbour at Southwold – you can take the small ferry boat from Southwold across (summer season only) or there is the footbridge to use. Walberswick has surrounding heath and marshland which are protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walberswick is very popular with walkers, cyclists and families and is known for its annual crabbing competitions. Walberswick has attracted famous figures over the years with many famous celebrities maintaining homes in the village. The village has two pubs – The Anchor and The Bell Inn – the latter which inspired the creation of Adnams’ Ghost Ship Ale, a tearoom, art gallery and gift shop. There are some fantastic walks from Walberswick via the Suffolk Coast Path leading to the historical village of Dunwich. Reviews

Perfectly positioned for a great relaxing family holiday. The dogs loved the garden and we all appreciated the barbecue

Miss B,

The location of this property is just superb and I don’t think we realised quite how much from reading the description! It’s a lovely bike ride to Southwold on a nice road that was so easy for the kids. It’s also a stones throw away from all the activity of Walberswick but nice and quiet!

Mrs C,

Our first stay in Walberswick and we have had a fabulous time! The house is the perfect location and size for a family get together. All of our needs were catered for and we will definitely share our experience with friends and family. Thank you for our welcome gifts - a lovely surprise. Hopefully we'll be back again soon.

Previous Customer,

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We love Walberswick and have stayed here and in Southwold many times but your house has been the best by far. The children enjoyed hours of cricket in the garden apologies we have left a few tennis balls with your neighbour! The Anchor were so friendly as were Everyday a Sundea and the Black Dog Deli.
