Description

Gleve House is a beautifully presented and spacious four bedroomed cottage.  It has been completed to a high standard and boasts ample parking and a newly landscaped front and rear garden. Positioned in Hacheston near Wickham Market, it is the perfect base for exploring all that Suffolk has to offer. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 2 mile.

FIRST FLOOR

Hacheston is small village just outside of Wickham Market. It is within the Suffolk Coastal Heritage Area and well placed for visiting the beautiful coastal resort of Aldeburgh and the historic towns of Woodbridge and Framlingham with its wonderful castle. Within a ten mile radius you will find the attractions of Easton Farm Park, Snape Maltings and Sutton Hoo. Within a short walking distance is a children's play area which includes swings, slide and zip wire.

The cottage is in an ideal location, may have to keep an eye on young children due to the busy road at front of the property, otherwise could not fault the property would stay again, puts some hotels to shame.

Lovely house and very clean. The house was very convenient for our 2year old with the park being right next door. Convenient for shopping as well. A nice touch when we arrived was the Christmas trees inside.

We’ve stayed in many holiday cottages and Gleve House is up there with the best - so well equipped, communication was polite and prompt and the house well located and clean. Just wish we could have stayed longer !

Have to say that this is was a stunning property that is clearly well cared for and a lot of pride taken by the owners. There are little sticker notes dotted around the property with really useful information ie. WiFi Code, Bi-Fold Door Keys as well as a really helpful guide to the property and surrounding attractions. Overall a really nice place to spend a week

Could not fault this property, very well equipped with everything that you would need for a relaxing stay. On arrival we found the property to be incredibly clean.

Gleve House is a spacious, comfortable and well equipped holiday home. The visitors' every need has been catered for including a gaming console in the conservatory and the most comprehensive range of kitchen & dining equipment I've ever seen. We were a group of 4 related middle-aged/elderly ladies who appreciated being able to have a bedroom each and the use of 3 bathrooms. There is a pleasant rear garden with plenty of patio furniture and a large gravel front providing parking for 2-3 cars. The house is well placed to explore the local area, particularly the castle and village at Framlingham and is only about 12 miles from the coast.

We had a fantastic holiday. The property was well thought out to meet the needs of all in our family, especially being child proof/friendly. The welcome pack was a nice touch and having milk in the fridge so we could make a cup of tea when we first arrived. We were kept well informed prior to our visit with all relevant information communicated via email and text. The ladies I spoke to at Original Cottages were very helpful and friendly and I found it easy to get in contact with the company.

Gleve House is a beautifully well maintained property with excellent facilities for a family or group of people. Three of the bedrooms are very spacious double bedrooms (2 with en-suite) with the fourth, being a good sized single bedroom. The property is in a very good location for visiting lovely places like Framlingham, Southwold and Aldeburgh. There is no pub in Hacheston or within straightforward walking distance but Framlingham is only a short drive or taxi ride away. There was a lovely welcome pack of useful locally sourced items on arrival, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great family short break at Gleve House.
