The cottage is dog-friendly and although there is no outside area, there are plenty of open spaces by the river and parks within close walking distance, which are perfect to allow your pooch to stretch their legs.
Kendal itself has the Abbot Hall Art gallery, museum and the Brewery Arts Center which houses festivals throughout the year, such as the International Mountain Festival and Comic Arts festival, while the Brewery Arts has live music, films and comedy throughout the year to sample. There is a twice weekly market, many eateries and an array of cobbled historic yards, which have a good selection of independent shops. There is a local train station as well the main Oxenholme station which can also take you to Staveley where you can sample the Hawkshead brewery or easily travel to Windermere where to you can enjoy lake activities such as cruising.

Superb location just a few minutes walk to the town centre. Property has a parking space which is great. Bed is very comfortable. Overall would recommend a stay here.
