Description

Myrtle Cottage is a spacious three bedroom country cottage sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms, one with an en suite. It is set in the charming village of Bellerby, close to the popular market town of Leyburn with its quirky shops, tea rooms and the Friday market is not to be missed. It is very well placed for exploring all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer and is an ideal option for families or groups of friends looking for a cosy base to explore Wensleydale. There is a large well-equipped kitchen complete with a range cooker, a spacious lounge and a separate dining room which looks out onto the green. A plus for this cottage is the car parking. There are many original features such as flagstone floors, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls.

Lounge: Comfortable leather sofas, coffee table, Smart TV and a lovely Exposed stone wall.
Dining Room: Oak dining table and chairs, sideboard, beamed ceiling, CD player.
Kitchen: Gas range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer.
Cloakroom: Washbasin, toilet.

FIRST FLOOR: 13 steps up
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV with DVD.
En suite:  Shower, washbasin, toilet.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, sofa, beamed ceiling, TV with DVD.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs, TV with DVD.
Bathroom:  P shaped bath with electric shower over and attached thermostatic control shower head with wall clamp and its own riser rail clamp if power showering is required, wash basin and toilet

Parking: On site parking for three cars.

Absolutely loved this cottage. Location amazing, very quiet. a short drive to Leyburn with local shops, and a 10 minute drive to Richmond, if you wanted a big Tesco. Absolutely breath taking places to visit within driving distance, we found this cottage to be quite Central . Cottage was well equipped with everything you need, i loved cooking on the gas range, plenty of room for family dinners. I would defiantly return, this is one of my favourite holidays in England.

Great cottage. Lovely aspect in a quiet village with quick links to leyburn. The cottage itself was lovely and spacious with 3 large bedrooms and a good sitting area dining area and good kitchen. My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend here and would definitely return ☺

A very spacious property, well equipped and in a good location for walking. Nearest town is also walkable across pretty farmland. No amenities without a 40 minute walk or a car ride. Local pub doesn't do food any more and owner is selling so may not be there in future. Cottage was lovely and very comfy beds, showers good, kitchen well equipped for cooking. However, we did find ourselves cleaning a bit, especially the floors.

The property is in a lovely village however, it is on a main road which we found very noisy. The back of the house had a nice setaing area. The pub is in the process of closing down so we feel this needs to be reviewed. on the information. The house was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. We found the matresses hard. But all bedding was a good quality. We were in a good location to visit the Himalayan Gardens, Leyburn and Aysgarth Falls.

Fabulous cottage and location. We stayed with 4 adults , 2 boys (11 & 7) and a dog. The cottage was so spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Brilliant heating too! We absolutely loved our stay and will be recommending. The location is perfect so many things to do all not so far away. Brilliant holiday in my favourite part of the world , thank you ??
