Reviews

Beautifully appointed cottage in a lovely village. Could not fault any aspect of the cottage as was very well stocked with all items required. Lovely extra finishing touches that made it feel homely. Very clean and extremely comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Mrs M,

We had a wonderful Christmas break in Hawes with Chapel House being the icing on the cake. A comfortable home from home, warm, cosy and quiet. Lugo the Labrador would also recommend this house! Thank you

Mr H,

Had a fabulous stay. The cottage is in a superb location in the centre of Hawes. Property exactly as described. Would not hesitate to come back.

Mrs B,

We have stayed at Chapel House Cottage on several occasions. Its a lovely property in a great location in the centre of Hawes, with a parking space. Clean, very comfortable and cosy. Well equipped, with everything that you need. Highly recommended.

Mrs T,

Everything about the property was up to a very high standard well equipped and tastefully furnished only irritating thing was parking we were 4 adults with 2 cars but only parking for 1 fortunately a neighbour was away so we could use their space

Mrs C,

A very cosy well appointed cottage with easy access to the town and to great walks. Breakfast baps at the Creamery made for a very tasty breakfast on our last day.

Mr E,

This is a great house for visiting the Yorkshire Dales, very centrally located and enough activities within walking distance to occupy a wet day. Hawes has plenty of traditional cafes and some excellent pubs. The scenery around the town is absolutely stunning and we met very few people when we went out walking in the hills, even in August.

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage. Central walking location of Hawes for shops, food, pubs and local walks.

Mrs K,

Not sure who we could recommend you to. There were a few cobweb issues, particularly in the ground floor bedroom. Not a big problem. Also not a big problem, but it did not appear that the TVs were capable of receiving digital signal.

Mr David C,

Chapel House was very clean, comfortable ( with heating coming on from 8a.m. every morning) and full of character. The rooms were spacious but the downstairs ensuite was too small, leading to problems of damp in that downstairs bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well- equipped for self- catering cooking. Although we were very centrally situated in Hawes and convenient for the shop it was very quiet in the evenings. Overall, a very good cottage for people who have no problem going up flights of stairs. The arrangement of rooms is ideal for some privacy.

Mr M,

Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location. We were really impressed with how well-equipped it was - it has everything you need to make it a home away from home. Very clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the cottage was lovely and warm. Would happily return!

Mrs R,

Excellent holiday accommodation. Very clean and great facilities. Loved the use of the log burning stove. Thank you

Mrs Louise H,

Very comfortable, clean and cosy cottage.

Miss Helen F,

Great location in lovely Hawes

Mr H,

A lovely cottage in an excellent location. Second time of staying and would visit again

Mr Peter B,

Very nice character property, tucked away on a small square off the main street. Very quiet, very well appointed
