Nestling in a pretty, wooded glade, at the end of a half mile private road, Wagtail Cottage is one of a small group of properties surrounded by open farmland.  Tucked away in peaceful countryside on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, close to Gisburn Forest with its mountain bike tracks and walking routes, Wagtail Cottage is situated at the end of a half mile private road. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation for families and groups of friends, with plenty of outdoor space to relax in. The shared games room includes snooker, table football, table tennis and darts, and there is an indoor swimming pool and a tennis court.

Wagtail Cottage adjoins Jenny Wren (DS098) and there is an adjoining door linking the two properties, making this ideal accommodation for groups of ten people when booked together (See Cuckoo's Nest, DS103).

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge: Log burning stove, leather sofa, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod docking station.  Door to private patio and shared garden.
Dining Kitchen: Table and chairs (seats up to 10  people). Fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave.
Bathroom: Bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Cloakroom: Toilet and washbasin.

Pets: Two pets welcome (to be kept on leads within the cottage complex grounds).
Parking: Ample parking.
Heating: Full central heating.
Garden: Private patio with furniture and barbecue, shared gardens.
Short Breaks: Not accepted at peak times.

Notes: Towels are provided. Cot and high chair available. Cot bedding provided. Unlimited wifi is available free of charge. Payphone on site.  Please note the swimming pool is closed on Saturdays between 10.30 am and 12 (1.5 hours) for private swimming lessons.

Settle
Settle is a busy market town enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery in North Yorkshire. The town provides a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Settle has a market on Tuesdays, from far and near. There is ample car parking space available in the town's 3 car-parks situated within easy walking distance of the town centre. There are plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in the town centre. The market place is surrounded by local businesses and the centre is dominated by the Shambles, a historic 3-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above. Within Settle is the railway station serving the community with a regular passenger service.
