Description

Dragonfly is a charming open plan self-catering barn-conversion with a wonderfully light and airy feel. Located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, this self-catering holiday home is a relaxing retreat only a short distance from Halesworth. Southwold, Bungay and Beccles are within easy reach; Norwich, Ipswich, Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft are 25-30 miles distant. The Rumburgh Buck pub is a short 5 minute walk away.  Upstairs the bedrooms have an inviting tone with crisp white linen and period features; and the sunlight floods in. The open plan living space is fantastic for relaxing after a day exploring and the double doors by the dining table really bring the outside in. However, the champion of this property is the outside space; Dragonfly has a delightfully private garden with one area laid to lawn, a gravelled area with cosy bench, open cart lodge with outdoor seating area and wood burning stove, a large natural pond and a paved area with garden furniture.

Reviews

Beautiful little cottage, the perfect size for 4 adults and a dog. The outside space was such a treat with the log burner to keep warm a cosy. Evelyn & Andrew were so helpful. We would all highly recommend!

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage in a very quiet setting with ducks, pheasants and squirrels in the grounds and around the ponds. Excellent pub just 8 minutes stroll away serving fabulous home cooked meals.

A cute “full of character” place! Owners very friendly & helpful. Beds extremely comfy! A great location, converted barn on owners’ property, ideal for exploring coastal Suffolk towns. Barn was equipped enough to stay comfortably. Only downside was no WiFi as it did not work at all. Relied on 4G - as routers did not reach from owners property. Owners aware now though so hopefully won’t be a problem for long!
