The Byre is a fantastic barn conversion which oozes character features and is a lovely countryside getaway for two. This is a cosy, compact barn with open beams which presents very well is ideal for those looking for a quiet holiday location but within easy access of some of Suffolk's most popular destinations. The Byre has a cosy, open plan living area with a focal woodburner. The Stables and The Byre are situated next to each other and can be booked together to accommodate larger groups; both properties have ample outside seating and can seat a party of 6 together. Open Plan Room with Sitting Area: Smart TV, DVD ,woodburner, character beams, doors to patio area. Dining Area: Dining table and chairs. Kitchen Area: Bosch electric oven and induction hob, fridge with ice box, microwave.
Bedroom: Double bed with small wardrobe, shoe rack and small chest of drawers and En-Suite Shower Room with shower cubicle, washbasin and wc.
Please note that The Byre is not suitable for children or infants.
Garden: Patio area with garden furniture. On-site tennis court available to use with prior arrangement.
Parking: Private within the grounds.
Heating: Oil heating and woodburner.
Pets: One well-behaved pet welcome. 2 small dogs may be allowed with consent of the owner. Please note grounds are completely open therefore pets should be supervised when outdoors.
Notes: Wi-Fi, towels and a starter pack of wood for the woodburner provided. Access available to washing machine in the Cart Lodge next to the property.
Bramfield is a small Suffolk village located in the attractive countryside and has lots of history. Bramfield has an interesting white-walled thatched church called St Andrews as well as a primary school and village hall. The village pub, The Queens Head is now independently owned and is extremely popular serving local ales and great food. Bramfield is positioned just a short drive away from many desirable places to visit, including the small market town of Halesworth, the seaside town of Southwold, RSPB reserve Minsmere and the historical Bungay.
