Bwthyn Benllech is a converted coach house, now a very well equipped holiday cottage, all on one level, and just a stroll away from the popular sandy beach, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants at this popular seaside resort on the east coast of Anglesey. It has its own lovely enclosed garden and a large playground just a 100 yards from the cottage, so its ideal for family holidays and short breaks. The cosy woodburning stove in the living room makes it ideal for breaks throughout the year, when you could take advantage of this wonderful coastline at a quieter time of year. The pretty little village of Moelfre is a 2.6 mile walk or drive away, Beaumaris with its stunning castle, 8 miles and Caernarfon on the mainland 16 miles.
The Cottage: is furnished to a high standard throughout and is suitable for guests of all ages. Central heating. Fresh flowers and a homemade cake will be waiting for you on arrival. Pre-arrival shopping is available on request.
The Living/dining Room: this open plan room has unusual high ceilings and a large, impressive window which was once the coach entrance. Exposed stone work in places reveals the former structure of this converted building. This room has practical tiled floors with rugs over, a leather suite, a wood burning stove and Smart TV/DVD and WiFi. Table with a church pew and chairs for six.
The Kitchen: is part of the open plan living room. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: this cottage style king bedroom has a wash basin with mirror over.

Bathroom: the family bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower over the bath.

Bwthyn Benllech holiday cottage is situated on Anglesey's east coast, in the popular coastal resort of Benllech. Set within private grounds shared only with the owner's house, this detached cottage is just a 0.25mile walk from the family friendly beach. It is also within walking distance of all the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Some of the recommended restaurants nearby include Pebbles and The Beachcomber (within walking distance).
In Red wharf Bay, you will have The Tavern on the Bay, The Old Boathouse, and The Ship(1.8 miles by car or a lovely 40 minute walk from the cottage along a sandy beach) .Benllech Tandoori is also excellent(1.1 miles away).
The cottage also offers an ideal base for visiting a range of fascinating local attractions. Beaumaris Castle is nearby whilst the Blue Flag beach of Benllech is on your doorstep. Enjoy Anglesey's 125 mile coastal path, go cycling and venture up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales (in nearby Snowdonia), by foot or by train.
Other attractions in Anglesey include the Copper Mountain with its surreal lunar landscape, Anglesey Oyster Festival in October and Bryn Celli Ddu’s well preserved stone-age burial chamber near Llanddaniel Fab. Take a tour around Llynnon Mill - the only working windmill in Wales and visit Oriel Tegfryn Art Gallery, the longest established Gallery in Wales.
For younger visitors Pili Palas’ butterfly centre offers a magical experience and also features birds, snakes and other exotic species. Anglesey Sea Zoo, Wales’ biggest aquarium offers an amazing world of marine life, shipwrecks and shark pool grids. The short bridge crossing to mainland North Wales offers even more family attractions including Glasfryn Park with karting, bowling, quad biking etc and Hwylfan Fun Centre, North Wales' largest indoor fun centre.
