White Horse Common is an attractive rural hamlet situated 2 miles east of the market town of North Walsham. It is an ideal location from which to explore the north Norfolk coast, The Broads National Park, the historic city of Norwich and the Weavers Way is also easily accessible. Within a short drive you will find the coastal village of Mundesley with its sandy, Blue Flag beach, village shops and a good gastro pub, The Ship Inn. To the south, seek out Happisburgh beach with its iconic red and white lighthouse and Horsey beach to visit the local seal colony. Golf, tennis and squash can be found in the seaside town of Cromer and whilst there, take in a show on the Pier and stop for some tasty fish and chips to eat, in traditional fashion, sitting on the sea wall. Less than half an hour away is Blickling Hall and its park, home of Anne Boleyn, it is now owned and run by the National Trust and makes a fascinating day out.
