Description
A hidden gem in a pretty village, Sunhaven Cottage is a delight from the moment you walk through the garden gate. Built in the 19th Century the cottage has the new addition of a beautiful light-filled, oak framed garden room, which acts as the dining area and looks out onto the pretty walled garden, just the spot for making the days’ plans. The kitchen and the living room have warming woodburners for keeping toes toasty on colder days and the bathroom has a spa-like feel that is a lovely place to unwind and relax. The lobby room is a great space for storing bicycles and rubbing down the dog after a good walk, of which there are plenty directly from the cottage door. Southrepps is an attractive village in a rural location with a good pub, village shop and within easy reach of the coastal resort of Cromer and the sandy beaches and villages of the east coast. With local walks directly from the door and within easy reach of both Paston Way, Weavers Way and the Bittern Line Ramble, there is much to explore on foot. If cycling is your thing, it is easy to tap in to the Quiet Lanes Explorer trail which runs through this part of the county and for historian buffs the National Trusts' Felbrigg Estate and Blickling Hall should not be missed. There is plenty to entertain the younger generation too with a Magic Kingdom at North Walsham, a zoo at Cromer and a Playbarn at Mundesley to name just a few, whilst the whole family can enjoy the experience of the steam train era at the Bure Valley Railway in Aylsham to the south, which will take you to The Broads or The Poppy Line Railway in Sheringham to the north, which runs to the elegant Georgian town of Holt.
