Southrepps is an attractive village in a rural location with a good pub, village shop and within easy reach of the coastal resort of Cromer and the sandy beaches and villages of the east coast. With local walks directly from the door and within easy reach of both Paston Way, Weavers Way and the Bittern Line Ramble, there is much to explore on foot. If cycling is your thing, it is easy to tap in to the Quiet Lanes Explorer trail which runs through this part of the county and for historian buffs the National Trusts' Felbrigg Estate and Blickling Hall should not be missed. There is plenty to entertain the younger generation too with a Magic Kingdom at North Walsham, a zoo at Cromer and a Playbarn at Mundesley to name just a few, whilst the whole family can enjoy the experience of the steam train era at the Bure Valley Railway in Aylsham to the south, which will take you to The Broads or The Poppy Line Railway in Sheringham to the north, which runs to the elegant Georgian town of Holt.

Reviews

Lovely cozy cottage, quaint but modern. Dog very happy as are we! Great quiet village, restful, peaceful with good pubs and walks. Would recommend.

Mrs V,

Thank you to the owners for a magical stay. Lovely house and great location. We will return! Jenna

Miss B,

The cottage was as advertised. Located in a fantastic working rural location, the property was well equipped, dishwasher was a bonus as was the washing machine, lovely clean bed linen and very soft towels supplied. We enjoyed relaxing in the conservatory which had French doors opening out on to a private garden. Good off street parking (we fitted a Jaguar XF) so you should have no Issues parking. We appreciated the fantastic welcome pack, wine, tea, biscuits, cake and milk. It was appreciated after a four hour drive. So if you’re looking for a quiet, charming, we’ll equipped cottage with wonderful walks and within easy driving distance to fantastic beaches, that's dog friendly, then Book this cottage. We I’ll definitely will be returning.

Mr M,

A beautiful cottage with everything we needed and in a lovely location. The sun room at the front was lovely where we had our meals and our dog loved being in there soaking up the sun!

Miss R,

A lovely, quiet cottage, perfect for relaxing and ideal for us and our dog. It is charming and spacious inside, has an amazing sunroom for dining or reading (and painting) and the garden is a perfect space to relax after days out. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, with good quality appliences and cosy bedding. We loved the local walks and met some friendly locals walking their dogs who were happy to share their knowledge of the area. We will be booking a return visit!
