Reviews

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Carrstone Cottage, lovely place, lots of features, lots of nice local walks and friendly people, welcoming pub, convenient for local attractions.

Mr W,

Comfortable & cosy cottage with good facilities. Great for exploring the surrounding area which has many great halls, castles & beaches. Top quality restaurant within walking distance at the Congham Hall Hotel.

Mr L,

Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, this was one of the best. It was a sympathetically restored traditional house, well equipped, clean and comfortable throughout. The garden was lovely, well-maintained and private. There are walks at either end of the village. The location was excellent - the village is only a few miles from Kings Lynn, but still surrounded by countryside. There are many places to visit in the surrounding area. The local pub is friendly and serves good food. What more could one want? Just to add - my husband has mobility problems, and uses a mobility scooter when we are out, as he cannot walk far. He managed the 'Norfolk stairs' no problem. When out, almost everywhere we visited was accessible for the scooter. In short, we had a great holiday.

Ms F,

Our 3rd visit to Carrstone Cottage. We love it here as it’s perfect for our needs a couple and a dog. The garden is fully enclosed and an absolute sun trap, which was appreciated by us all. The cottage itself is lovely - be mindful of the stairs as original and steep if you are less mobile. Is in a great spot for exploring Norfolk and close to Sandringham, Hunstanton and Burnham Market. Slightly further out are Wells and The Broads. We will definitely be back but would say there are a few things which could enhance a stay. We struggled to find a broom, dustpan and iron and I’d welcome hairdryer etc. that said when we head to Norfolk again Carrstone would be our go to choice Loved the touches eg wine, milk and dog treats on arrival

Mrs A,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrstone Cottage with our two dogs. The cottage is very comfortable and homely and the log burner was a welcome addition. The property was lovely and clean too. We are already discussing booking again for next year.

Ms P,

A very good location for visiting family...Quiet at night...a little traffic early and late. There was a curious piece of equipment in corner work top in kitchen. Perhaps it was a coffee maker? We had no ground coffee so didn't get to try it out... I am sure we one of us will use Carrstone cottage again in future. Thank you!
