Reviews

Fabflat and view loved our stay

Mr D,

The place was lovely, location perfect and the view spectacular. Sheets crisp and glorious and kitchen was well stocked (bar a cork screw and veg peeler). The beds were also very comfy. We did sadly struggle a little with the noise from the corridors and downstairs with banging doors outside ours and downstairs throughout the first night, loud music from bars and people in the alley outside and a very unsettled new baby underneath the main bedroom who cried through the night every night and could be heard throughout the flat. Seemed to echo significantly in the corridors and sadly woke all of us up each night, recognise that this is not in your control but for non heavy sleepers it was tricky and worth considering. Recognise noise is hit or miss too, a week later there may have been no noise, we may have just been unlucky. The alley entrance isn't particularly pretty as it houses the restaurant bins from the harbour front, especially on bin day, but the property inside is very lovely.

Mrs D,

The best possible location. Listening to the ebb and flow of the tide and the sun rise and sun set were wonderful

Mr A,

Great location and clean but stains on sofas and bed maintenance as seemed poor no mattress covers or pillow covers stained carpets and furniture sofas ! Could be something special with some tlc and money spent

Mr W,

Beautiful and very comfortable apartment in perfect location over The Wharf.

Mr B,

Good location, some equipment was broken or not working, washing machine and tumble dryer not clean. Issues reported but not acted on which was a H+S risk. Good value for money though. Tenants on last night in no.2 partied all night so didn't sleep well. If I was stuck for choice the property would work for me but I wouldn't take my family or friends there. It has great potential if issues were fixed

Mr Adrian C,

Location

St Ives is one of Cornwall's top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light- one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located here in the heart of the town. The town itself arcs around the working harbour- the heart of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming cobbled streets which are crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs- a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored!

St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family friendly activities. Dogs are welcomed out of season. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September.
