Quality fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable stay. Comes with the advantage of a parking space. Centrally located to everything. I could do with more hanging space but that’s because I pack for every eventuality! Perfect for a couple. I would not hesitate to recommend or rebook. Thank you!

Mrs P,

Parking was a bonus. Really nice furniture and decor

Mr H,

Great property. Comfortable and clean. Felt like home. Would be happy to return there in the future.

Mr S,

We found the Dolls House to be in a very peaceful location and an older property converted and refurbished to the highest standard. Also relatively close to the town centre so you can leave a car safely parked and enjoy walking to the shops, although the return journey can be challenging for older knees. The views of the historic buildings and river from the upstairs lounge are delightful and a very modern and well equipped kitchen is close at hand. The ground floor bedroom has has a very high quality en-suite with underfloor heating and below a lovely bright staircase there is a very useful washer/drier of the highest standard.

Mr M,

A really good comfortable and well designed property to stay at, with easy access, into the town centre, even if a little steep, and with a parking space - a real bonus for Fowey!

Mr Y,

Super comfortable home, just right for a couple, with parking right outside the door. Sparkling clean and everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday.

Miss O,

A super location, no more than a 6/7 minute walk into Fowey, with car parking a few steps away from your front door. Well equipped with everything you may need for a holiday, very much a “Home from Home”

Mr B,

Good property, great location.

Mr E,

The Dolls House is a lovely bijou home from home with everything we needed for our week’s holiday. This accommodation was perfectly situated with a short walk into Fowey making the shops, bars and restaurants easily accessible. The private car parking space was a real bonus. The apartment itself is very tastefully decorated, light, airy and thoroughly clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Mrs R,

If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store.  Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors.

There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce.  If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.

If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work.  There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated.  Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.

Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
