Discover the superb range of great facilities at St Mellion Estate. Tee off and enjoy a day or two of golf or indulge in a spa treatment at the health centre. In the evening, why not head into one of the onsite bars and restaurants for a well-deserved meal. The complex is located close to the Cornish towns of Callington (3.5 miles) and Saltash (6 miles) for supermarkets, banks, and petrol stations. Just 12 miles away is the maritime metropolis of Plymouth with its amazing visitor attractions like the National Marine Aquarium, Barbican, Tinside Lido, the Mayflower Steps, and Plymouth Hoe. Many walking prospects await visiting wayfarers, crisscrossing the Tamar Valley, Bodmin Moor or winding around the lush local coastline of Cornwall and Devon. The towns and villages of Kingsand and Cawsand (18 miles), Looe (15.5 miles) and Polperro (20.5 miles) are an easy drive away, offering an endless store of fantastic days out.

Enter the hallway where you immediately notice the fabulous spiral staircase which takes you up to the bedrooms. On this floor is a wonderful lounge/kitchen/diner as well as a shower room with WC. The large open-plan space offers stylish contemporary living with a fully equipped kitchen offering an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Everything you could need to cook up a meal or pack up a good lunch. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, Smart TV with Freeview as well as patio doors out onto a wonderful terrace area, the perfect spot for relaxing with a cold drink after a long day. There is a good size dining table with plenty of seating and this is a great place where the family can sit together and talk about their day over a meal or play a game together. Moving up the spiral staircase you will find two bedrooms, a good size bunk bedroom with storage space. There is a WC on this floor also and next door is the absolutely stunning master bedroom with super-king-size-zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request at time of booking) a dressing area, seating area with a comfy chair and coffee table and Smart TV with Freeview, the perfect place to relax with a good book or watch your favourite programmes. This room also features a freestanding bath where you can bubble away after a long day out exploring. You also have patio doors leading outside to the balcony with views out over the countryside.

Outside is a private patio area with garden furniture and a balcony off the master bedroom. There is also 450 acres of natural grounds to roam. Guests also have use of the complimentary health club. There is private off-road parking for two cars.

Great central option to explore the area, with pool and club to return to

Cottage is equipped reasonably, but as already mentioned cleanliness was poor (Thick cobwebs ran throughout the cottage, in all rooms and across windows) Limited shelving and storage throughout property, therefore we ended up living out of suitcases. This would be fine for a couple of days but not for a week. Interior appeared to be designed with aRead moreesthetics in mind as opposed to functionality. This accommodation is very suitable for a short term stay but not great for a longer (family) holiday. There is little storage space for clothing, and a car is required in order to do anything off-site. Probably a lovely short term trip for golf or attending a wedding (and ideally golfing too).
