Cottages in Constantine Bay
Located on the dramatic North Cornish coast, Constantine Bay is a gently shelving beach of golden sand interspersed with beautiful rock pools.
Constantine Bay is a very popular destination for seaside enthusiasts and its picturesque beach appeals to all sorts of holidaymakers. Situated three miles west of the well known town of Padstow, you can combine the best of both worlds retreating from the bustling town to a peaceful, almost exotic bay.
Whether you want to enjoy some quiet time in the shelter of the rocks, explore the beautiful rock pools exposed at low tide or have a dip in the water, Constantine Bay will not disappoint.
For such a beautiful and well liked beach, it is remarkably unspoiled and it also has a reputation as one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall. The combination of gently shelving sand and being westerly facing produces top quality waves and surfing enthusiasts are not far behind them.
Constantine Bay is set in one of the most open parts of the coastal landscape in Cornwall which is why it seems so spacious and uncluttered compared perhaps to some of the smaller beaches and coves. Rather than steep cliffs, an impressive sand dune system sits behind the bay again contributing to the sense of space. At low tide, Constantine Bay connects to Booby’s Bay, one of the Seven Bays beaches around Trevose Head and it is possible to walk across there.
