This impressive spacious home has been beautifully refurbished with input from an interior designer.  Well-equipped and generously proportioned, Kalundu has four large twin bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom. A substantial kitchen/diner complete with a dining table for eight and a large granite-topped central island with breakfast bar and three bar chairs. The lovely spacious lounge leads off from the kitchen/diner through some large double doors which can be opened up to create an open entertainment area.  Being all on one level, with sleeping and communal areas in different wings, and having good heating and hot water, makes it ideal all year round for groups of all types; families (all generations), golfers, walkers and dog lovers. In summer step through the patio doors on to the large sun trap patio then into the large lawned garden or in winter snuggle up by the open fire after a windswept walk along the beach. The wide sandy beach of Constantine Bay, South West Coast path, village store and Trevose Golf and Country Club are all within easy walking distance.

GARDEN & PARKING:  Driveway to lockable double garage with space for one car or storage of golf clubs, pushchairs, surfboards, bikes etc.  Parking for 3 cars on the drive. The building forms a U shape to the rear which encloses a patio and acts as a sun trap.  There is a further quarter acre garden for children to play in, mainly laid to lawn. Mature trees abut the boundary. Weber charcoal barbecue, patio table and chairs, sun loungers. The garden is enclosed, but a determined dog possibly could escape.

Pets Welcome: £25 per pet per week; maximum 2 (£35 per pet per week from 2024). 
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent, open fire in lounge, electric convector radiators throughout (thermostatically controlled), heated towel rails in bathrooms; 3 large separate hot water tanks with electric immersion heaters provide plenty of hot water.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Not provided but can be hired.
Shop: 400yds Golf Club Bar: 500yds or Pubs in St Merryn: approx 1mile (Rick Stein's Cornish Arms Pub 1.9 miles)

This is a very spacious cottage with great facilities. Views from the back of the property lead to the sea and allowed great views of the sun setting in the evenings. The beach is a 5 minute walk away with access to coast walks if you want. There is a Youth Hostel in the next bay and this has a cafe and bar if you want something away from the crowdRead mores in Padstow. Had a really good week, made better by the weather. Hide

Another great stay in this light, airy and homely property. A fantastic location with easy access to an amazing dog friendly beach and a golf course, which serves a tasty Sunday lunch. We received great support and assistance from the owner and caretaker when we contacted them during our break. It was very much appreciated, thank you. Its a beautiful, spacious house in a great location. Having an en-suite in each room is a real boon. The unmade track down to the house is quite bumpy so go very gently in your car and watch out for holes!

Very roomy and well located bungalow just a few minutes walk to Constantine Bay. The property has a large kitchen diner and living room, with very large garden for children and dogs. Just a few minutes walk to the Constantine Store.

Kalundu is a lovely property to stay in. Only a short 15 minute walk to a lovely large dog friendly beach. The bungalow is a good size, we were a group of 7 adults and two dogs and there was always plenty of room in the communal areas. Dogs loved the large rear garden. The size of the property was excellent as there was 7 plus 2 children, the general relaxing area & kitchen dinner ample room, and the bed rooms were again ample size for all parties - including a portable cot in one room. My wife is wheelchair bound and again access through out was good

We have stayed in Kalundu 4 times over the years and have always had a fantastic time. We have also recommended it to other families we know and at least one of them stayed in the property in 2022. Looking forward to being back in 2024 and if we could have wall to wall sunshine as we did last week that would be perfect : )
