Cottages in Lynmouth

Nestled between the steep cliffs and the azure ocean, Lynmouth boasts spectacular scenery sure to make your holiday one to remember.

Known as Little Switzerland, Lynmouth’s impressive surroundings are, quite simply, striking. One of the most picturesque fishing villages along North Devon’s rugged coast, its stunning harbour views are framed by quaint streets with independent shops jostling for space. Spend your days exploring the Valley of Rocks and the Glen Lyn Gorge, and visit the many eateries to sample the local fare, whilst admiring the historic properties that line the streets. Hop on the Victorian funicular railway up to the town of Lynton, where there are more attractions, shops and cafes to explore. Another heritage railway attraction nearby is found at Woody Bay, where we also have a number of Woody Bay cottages.

Set within Exmoor National Park (where we also have some beautiful Exmoor cottages), you truly do get best of both worlds; not only the glorious coastline, but access to the inner moor where hopefully you will be able to spot the majestic red deer and wild Exmoor ponies. Beaches and bays are all within easy reach, with the surf spots of Croyde and Woolacombe an easy drive away.

Expect to find character-packed cottages with stunning views and charming features. From fisherman’s cottages perfect for couples, to larger properties with plenty of room for a group getaway, our portfolio in Lynmouth boasts exceptional properties perfect for a coastal retreat.
