A pretty little cottage that would suit couples or friends who want to escape to this area of outstanding beauty. Walk amongst the Exmoor ponies and red deer, enjoy the breathtaking views along the coastal walks and discover the magical moorlands. Take a trip to Lynton and Lynmouth (11 miles) and ride on the funicular railway that separates these 2 pretty Devon villages, with a plethora of independent shops, tearooms cafes and restaurants or enjoy a game on the putting green. The North Devon coastline has many award-winning beaches, all within 16 miles, with beautiful golden sands, a mecca for surfing, swimming and other watersports. Keen golfers will be spoilt for choice with many golf clubs within 18 miles and open to visitors. Other places of interest are Woody Bay Railway station (8 miles) and Arlington Court, part of the National Trust, only 5 miles.

Upon entering this pretty little cottage, all on one level, you will immediately appreciate the peace and tranquillity this holiday home has to offer. Relax on the comfy sofa, which doubles as an additional bed, and snuggle up to watch one of your favourite movies on the TV in the cooler evenings. Enjoy cooking one of your favourite recipes in the country-style kitchen. The pretty bedroom has a double bed and completing the cottage is a shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside is a private patio area with patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ to dine alfresco and enjoy the dark skies with a bit of star gazing.

Due to the rural position of this cottage, it is necessary to drive along an unmade, narrow lane.

What a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Ideal if you have dogs. Cliff gave us a very warm welcome and advised on good walks and places to go. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely, quiet location with such views and so peaceful. Yes, the road to the cottage is narrow and steep, what do you expect in North Devon. Truly a restful week out in the country with no lights to be seen.

We cant complain about anything in the cottage, it was very well equipped and comfortable The NO below is to do with the lane not the cottage which as I said was very nice indeed.

A lovely spacious cottage with lots of nice touches. Peaceful location but a long narrow drive to get anywhere.
