This ground floor wing of a farmhouse is situated on a 200 acre traditional livestock farm amid beautiful countryside just a few minutes walk into the centre of the picturesque Exmoor village of Parracombe. The accommodation is spacious and traditionally furnished with night storage heating throughout and includes some internal steps. One bedroom with double + single bed. Bathroom/wc with hand shower attachment. Good sized, comfortable living/dining room with satellite TV and DVD. Galley kitchen/breakfast room with electric hob, fitted electric oven and microwave. Attractive fully enclosed front lawned garden with garden furniture, use of large field. Ample parking adjacent.

Local village inn serving excellent meals and bar snacks, and small Post Office stores are within walking distance. Guests are welcome to roam the farmlands observing activities including lambing, haymaking, calf rearing etc. Dogs, cats, ducks and chickens also reside on the farm.   It is an ideal location for those wishing to explore the splendour of Exmoor by footpath, horseback or car, with Combe Martin and Lynton and Lynmouth a short drive and the superb sandy surfing beach at Woolacombe less than 30 minutes drive.

Fabulous stay, the wing has everything you need, parking, good TV & wifi, it was clean & the kitchen was well equipped, even surprised to have an air fryer, & the welcome gifts of milk, eggs, wine, fudge & dog treats were very generous. I can recommend you use the Fox & Goose Inn the food was excellent - make sure you book, & also make use of the CRead moreommunity Cafe has most things to keep you going - like cake!!! The wing is located a bit off the beaten track & that is an appeal as its lovely & quiet. The small field to exercise the dog was very useful & I found a short footpath looping up from around the back of the church & through a neighbouring farm track. Hide

Lovely cottage, great location, very comfortable. Less than 5 minute walk to the pub, good food and friendly. Dog walks from the cottage, Bodie had a great time. Would definitely go back.

So pleased with the cottage, comfortable accommodation, plenty of space and storage. Kitchen very well equipped, everything I needed. Had a nice feeling. Had a nice welcome too. The location was good, a lot of places to visit without having to travel very far. Will book again.

The place was clean and tidy had everything needed for our stay Couple of things that were a negative were there was no washing machine The shower needs to be put up correctly as the only way it could be used was to hold it over yourself whilst k feeling down in the bath And one that is not the properties fault is the lack of decent water prRead moreessure Hide

Great cottage, great host who showed us around her farm. Lovely touches of eggs in fridge, biscuits teas and coffee for our arrival. We had a lovely break away.

The owners made us very welcome. Everything was provided. They left us milk,eggs, chocolate. Many different types of tea. We couldn't have asked for more.

The perfect place for a peaceful holiday. Ideal for dog owners and a central place for some of the best Exmoor coastal and moorland walks. Very welcoming host and a lovely village with pub and caf. Take time to enjoy and use the local shop which is amazing! Good WiFi in the cottage which we didn't expect.

I found the cottage very roomy, comfortable and well equipped. The family were very friendly and helpful, I was even given a tour of the farm.

Cottage very quiet how we like it.Country lanes to the property very narrow need to be careful.Local shop very handy community run.

Had a very warm welcome from all the family, the cottage had all that we needed for our holiday. We had the use of a small field to exercise our dog which was a big plus. The village ahs a small community shop and cafe, open 7 days a week also very welcoming. The pub is at the entrance to the farm track though we never got round to visiting it, shaRead moreme!
